Nyla and Reece were stood over a large dug up hole of dirt in Angel's park."I can't wait to hear this story." Nyla said with a small grin, and Reece reciprocated it.
Inside the extremely deep and wide hole, was a light skin male, around 5'11 who was desssed in a black and white spotted shirt holding a shovel.
"This isn't what it looks like." The man said.
"It looks like you're creating a falling hazard in the middle of a public park." Reece spoke with a grin, his hands resting on his duty belt.
"Yeah, that parts exactly what it looks like." The man said with a nod and a small smile.
"The question is, why?" Nyla asked.
"Uh, I lost my keys." The man said. As he spoke, Reece picked up a piece of paper that was resting on a pile of dug up dirt.
"Sir, is this yours?" He asked.
"Yeah, actually, can I get that back?" The man asked, reaching for the paper.
Nyla read what was on it, it seemed to be a long twisted poem. "If golds your goal, then take a stroll, let angles point you here."
"Sir, are you digging for buried treasure?" Reece asked with a smirk, amused at the man in the pit.
"If I say yes, are you gonna arrest me?" The man asked.
"No, since you haven't done any real damage to city property we will cite you and let you go, but you need to fill this hole back in." Nyla explained.
"Ok. Yes. Yes it's a treasure hunt." The man sighed in relief and smiled. "But I'm starting to think there's no treasure down here." He looked down at the dirt around his feet.
Nyla turned and pointed to a sign near behind them, "You know that said 'Angels' not 'angles', right?" Reece snickered in response.
