>A month later<
I still hadn’t talked to Rian and honestly it was killing me, All Time Low had just finished a tour and there flight was getting back today I was excited to see them all...well except Rian I didn't’ know what to say to him. I was waiting in the airport for their plane to land when my phone began to ring.
“Hi Jack how are you?” I asked happily I missed him and wanted to see him terribly.
“Hi...Avery,” Jack said sounding absent.
“Everything okay babe?” I asked concerned.
“no, not really...you know I love you right,” Jack said his voice breaking a bit.
“I love you to, now what’s up?” I asked I was getting pretty worried.
“I...I’m so sorry I just need to tell you...I, I slept with someone else,” my phone fell out of my hand and my heart shattered all the feelings I had when my phone rang had vanished and I was left feeling numb. “Please say something...” Jack begged.
“What do you want me to say? That it’s okay that I forgive you? That we can go back to how we were...Jack I can’t say any of that...” I was surprisingly calm and my voice surprisingly steady.
“I think we should break up...I don’t want to hurt you, you mean too much to me,” Jack said hesitantly.
“Okay.” was all I said and then there was silence.
“I love you.” Jack said after a good three minutes of empty silence. “I’m sorry.”
“Please don’t apologize, I forgive you just please understand why I can’t be with you anymore.”
“I understand, I was stupid and I’m sorry, can we still be friends?” his voice was hopeful.
“Sure Jack, we can still be friends, but I need to go.” I said and cut the line my body was shaking and I opened up a new message and texted Rian: I’m sorry. You were right...he he cheated on me. I felt uneasy waiting for them to land and when they finally did I was a mess. I watched them walk over to me a small weary smile on Rian’s face as he pulled me close all the guys looked surprised.
“I never wanted to be right.” he whispered.
“I’m okay with you loving me more then him...” I said pulling away and walking over to the others. Rian stood there frozen the smile growing on his face. I stilled loved him, but right now I needed time, and I was hoping he would be willing to wait.
