"A-Alex, I-I don't know if I can do this........." I whispered to him as I looked down at my feet as if they were the most interesting thing in the world.
Suddenly I felt my hand be taken by his. He placed the bouquet of flowers in my hand. I held them close to me. He let go of my hand and I immediately missed it. I kept my eyes down. I tried all my best avoiding his eyes. But i could feel them starring at me. Boring holes into my soul.
I decided to look up and he tried to pass a smile. It was broken. He was broken. We were broken.
"I was about to continue with my sentence but he stopped me.
"No, it's okay. We will never be us again but we can be friends. Just friends like the first time we met. Except not fighting. Just friends." His voice cracked a little and kept repeating the word friend. He doesn't want us to be just friends.
"Just f-friends it is." I said. I don't want this either but what the hell am I suppose to do. No, I don't want to take him back that easily. He hurt me many times. It's hard to forget someone, when that someone gave you so much to remember.
He smiled and turned away. "Well I guess I'll see you later." He whispered and made his way out with no other word. I looked up at Austin who had stopped playing. His guitar was up against the wall. He opened his arms and I went straight towards him.
We stayed there hugging for about 10 minutes until he picked me up bridal style and took me up to our shared room. He sat me down on the bed and handed me my Pj's that were to the side. I stood up and changed.
No it wasn't weird that I change in front of Austin. I put on my over sized shirt and a pair of Pj shorts. While Austin took of his shirt and put on his pj, pants. I jumped into bed against the wall and Austin slid in right next to me. I drifted to sleep after this night I think I deserve it.

The next morning I wake up to a lonely bed. I looked at the clock and It was 9:24am. Why was Austin out of bed this early? He never is. I slipped on my slippers and made my way downstairs. As I entered the living room I noticed Austin on the couch with his head in his hands. When I got closer I noticed he was crying.
"Austin?" I sat next to him. He looked up and infuldged me with a hug. "Austin, what's wrong?" I asked again.
"She's gone and never coming back." He said he seemed so distanced
"Who's gone Austy?" He was starting to scare me.
"Mom, she said she's staying in the UK. That she found a boyfriend and a new job. She doesn't love me anymore."He started crying again. He laid back on the couch.
"Austin, You know that's not true. Come one boo! Let's go to the store and buy all YOUR favorite junk food and have a movie day. You don't even need to change. How about you set up your room and I go down to the store for the food?" I said and asked.
I need my Austin to be all happy and back to being the Austin I love.
He nodded. "Can we invite Alex? He's my best friend too. I'm going to need him." He asked my with the puppy dog eyes. I sighed and nodded.
"I'll call him. Don't worry. I'm also going to use your car." He smiled weakly and went upstairs. I grabbed my phone and Austin's keys before heading out to the garage for the car. I entered the car, I sat in the passenger seat and dialed Alex. Of course, all before driving, Safety first.
After a few rings he picked up.
"Hello?" He answered.
"Hey, Alex. Um Austin and I are having a movie and lazy day. Do you care to join us? Austin really needs us right now." I asked while putting on the seat belt.
"Yeah um sure." He said.
"Do you want me to pick you up? Also wear your pajamas." I said
"Yeah Could you? You wouldn't mind?" He asked though the phone.
"No I'll pick you up in five then we'll head out to the store."
"Okay then bye." He hung up.
Well, then. I made my way to Alex's house. After about 5 minutes of driving I made it to his house. I honked and he came out. His hair in his beanie, a sweater and some green pajama bottoms. He also had his back pack.
He hopped into the car and said a small hello. Way to make things awkward Alex,

We entered the little store. I collected the chocolate, chips and cookies. While Alex got the soda, pizza and any other sweets. He was in the candy isle looking at the gummy's. He looked so concentrated on picking the right ones. He looked so cute with his thinking face on.
I walked towards him and wrapped my arm around his waist. He shivered and looked at me. His face was emotionless. He turned back to the candy.
"What you looking for?" I asked still holding on to him.
"Uh the gummy worms. The sour ones" He said not moving his eyes from the shelf. I looked too. Hm there's none. Wait a minute.
"Found them!" I said and grabbed a few packets.
"How?" He asked with shock
"With my magic powers. ooohh" I smiled he also cracked a smile. He put his hand around my shoulder. Oh how I miss this. We set everything on the counter. The teenage cashier gave me a knowing look. What?
"Is that it for the adorable couple?" She asked with a happy tone. Alex went stiff and removed his arm from his shoulder.
"We're not a couple. Just friends." He said, he seemed pissed. I sighed and looked at the cashier.
"I'm sorry. Anyways the total is fifteen dollars and seventy-six cents." I grabbed my wallet but Alex stopped me.
"I'll pay" He handed her a twenty dollar bill. He got his changed and we walked out.In the car we didn't say anything. Why do things always have to end up awkward.

"So what movie are we going to watch?" I asked as we all huddled on Austin's bed.
"I was thinking Monsters Inc." Alex said. He was right beside me and Austin was on the other side. We closed all the windows and made the room really dark.
"Sure." Austin and I said in unison.
The movie was about half way. It was on the part were looking for Boo's door. Alex put an arm around me and I laid my head on his shoulder. Wait a minute. Austin only wanted Alex here to try to get us together! That little. Ugh. Well I didn't mind that much, he's pretty awesome and I still have feelings for him. But really Austin. You're feeling all bad and still has a plan.
Ally He can't hear you! Sometimes you worry me. Me, we're the same person. What, I'm taking to myself. Ugh I feel stupid sometimes
I looked over at Austin and he was asleep. He was crying too much, he doesn't deserve this. I then looked up at Alex and he was concentrated on the movie. He moved his head towards me and whispered, "You know it's rude to stare." I looked away and blushed. Good thing it's dark. I looked back at the screen. This movie always gets to me.
I'm glad we could be friends again. It's been awhile
