Chapter 30 – The Book and Ms. Ambrosia

Giselle was about to head out of her History of Homelands class when she noticed Ms. Ambrosia sitting at her desk jotting down on a piece of paper. She never knew what Ms. Ambrosia could do but she was curious and wanted to know.

Everyone was heading out of class content with the lesson she had given them about the homelands and how Zeptoria had other creatures such as ogres and more. Giselle knew most of this information since Jasmine had told her and drifted off during the lesson on many occasions to think about Isaac.

Jasmine had took the news well, Jumping up and down out of joy not being able to believe that Isaac and Giselle slept together. Well, slept as in really slept. It was a shock to her and huge step up but she was overall very happy for her. They spoke all morning while Giselle drunk the pill Isaac had given her and then later headed to class.

Here Giselle was, the last person to leave the classroom. She stepped forward standing in front of Ms. Ambrosia’s desk wondering how she could possibly bring up a subject of teachers gifts or who they were outside the classroom. Ms. Ambrosia glanced up from her paper and smiled at Giselle. “What seems to be the problem, Giselle?”

“Nothing.” Giselle muttered.

“Are you sure?” She questioned. “I’m pretty sure you have another class to get to.”

Giselle nodded to inform her she was correct in her assumptions. “Yeah, you’re right but I’m just curious to know what exactly your power is.”

Ms. Ambrosia smiled. “And why is that?”

“I don’t know, I just don’t really have a clue.”

“You know, I always liked you Giselle.” She responded out of left field. “You always know how to curve the rules and make this place your own.”

“What do you mean?”

Ms Ambrosia sat back in her chair. “Most students never have the courage to ask a teacher what their power is, but you, you have spunk and character and don’t seem to be afraid of anything.”

Giselle giggled nervously. “Sounds like you know more about me then I know about myself.”

“Not really.” She retorted. “But me, I am a witch.”

            Giselle stared at her. “Really?”

            “Yes.”

“But I mean I thought you had an element or something.”

“Nope.” She replied. “It’s a long story.”

Giselle pulled a chair from a seat and sat down. “I’m listening.”
