As the sun began to set, casting a warm golden hue over the riverbank, the air around us was filled with laughter and the enticing aroma of grilled fish.

I watched as Mady and Cris continued their playful banter, their jokes becoming more outrageous as the evening wore on. Joaquin was still battling with Kaira, who was determined to get revenge for her earlier mishap. The sounds of splashing water echoed behind them as Thom and Rals joined in on the fun, further igniting the atmosphere with joy and camaraderie. I couldn't help but be swept up in the moment, momentarily pushing aside the lingering anxiety from last night.

Napansin kong kanina pang walang imik ang katabi ko, she's silently watching them. The serious facade she usually wore had softened, replaced by a hint of amusement as she observed our friends.

"Hindi masamang ngumiti, pakawalan mo na," I interupted, nudging her gently.

Nakita ko naman bumalik ang seryoso nitong mukha at tumingin sa akin, tignan mo 'to mala Doble Clara, "Shut up."

"Sige na ba, a little fun won't hurt. Plus, you might be missing out on some epic splashes," I teased, totoo naman na once in a lifetime lang 'to.

"Instead of pestering me, why don't you join them?" nakit ko nanaman ang favorite niyang ekpresyon, ang pag tataas ng kilay mga mare.

"Sungit talaga," I murmured.

“How do you manage to put up with them?” I asked Aviel, motioning towards the chaos.

"You get used to it," she shrugged, a hint of warmth betraying her usual stoic demeanor. “Makes life interesting.”

“I suppose that’s one way to look at it. I was just thinking how chaotic this all is.”

“Chaos is sometimes necessary,” she said, surprising me with her insight. “It brings people together. Forces connections. It’s just part of being human.”

"So, what’s the story behind your name?" I asked, genuinely curious to know more about her.

"My parents thought they were being unique. They wanted something different," mahina niyang sabi.

"Your name is beautiful, no wonder why your parents name you that," I said, chuckling lightly. "It’s definitely not a common name."

She shrugged nonchalantly. "I guess it makes me memorable."

"Definitely," I agreed. "And it suits you. There's a certain strength to it."

"You're trying to butter me up, aren’t you?"

I'm just appreciating the uniqueness of it kaya," I grinned, she rolled her eyes at ibinalik ang mga tingin sa mga kaibigan.
