Also Dedicated to all those people who loved in silence
Had I told you ,
That I loved the tea you'd brew
Or the way you would hug me as if it were the last time
You loved my petty presents which were often worth a dime
You were bright ; full of life
Often as dangerous as playing with a knife
Happiness at your grace
Often time couldn't match your pace
Your love was complete
Even when fate wasn't sweet
I wish I could coo sweet nothings in your ear
Before I lost my chance and you disappear
Here , you lay dead
As tears brim up until they are shed
I wish I told you how much you mean to me
I wish I told you how you brightened my day with your glee
Never did I imagine this day
The skies seem to have gone gray
My existence has no meaning without you by my side
You were my sole guide
Regret imprisons me
This pain is not one that I can flee
I need you alive
Or else I can't survive
There are lots that I need to tell
Like , since I met you , you put me in a spell
Or how your love enthralls me
Come back ; don't turn a deaf ear to my plea
I wish I told you that I love you more than life itself
And now you left ; all alone to fight the world by myself
But I hope you know that I love you and always will
Don't forget to vote and comment xx
A/N : The first poem I ever wrote in a guy's POV . It revolves around a husband who never told his wife that he loved her and now she is dead ; he wants to bring her back . He now stands thinking about her and how much she affected him ; if only he told . It happens in many relationships where people love the other in silence but never confess to it . One must do that because each one needs to feel that he/she loved .
Goodbye!
