𝗦𝘄𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗟𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘆 - 𝗟𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗬𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗹

'21 - Star crossed '

No sound has echoed out of Jose, no laughters filled the room, no bright smiles to welcome us. Leaving is hard I get it, but I need to catch up.

This was my thought process all throughout school today, with Alvaro and Pearl by my side all day.

The bell sounded and it was time to go home and see my family again. Mum and dad visited us last week to check up on how I was doing, and it wasn't a surprise to them about how fucked up I looked.

I kept in contact with Julie all day, as she's now always with Jose in the hospital, face-timing me to show me that beautiful smile on his face.

Missing him is an understatement, he is my entire world. Coping with him is hard, but I know he's strong enough and will come back to me.

Alva drove me and Pearl to my house, and they decided to stay late with me to cheer me up, along with the boys.

We left the car and I opened the front door, with no words exchanged, as they know I need the time until I return back to myself.

I saw Lamine march down the stairs with his training kit still on, as the boys finished 5 mins before us. He was just the person I needed now.

"Hey my love." He greets me and stands away.

"Hey." I give him a faintly smile.

"I'm sorry, I'll go shower quick, then you can do whatever you like with me." He didn't wait for my response and ran straight to the bathroom in his room.

"He's so deep in love." Pearl speaks up.

"I agree, when's he gonna ask you out!" Alva asks.

"He knows I'm not ready yet, that's maybe why." They both look at me sympathetically and nod.

We all sat on the couch, while Alva had the remote flicking through the channels. Pearl and Alvaro have now been used to the house.

Ferran strolls by from outside the garden and moves to sit next to me.

"How's my young one doing?" He ruffles my hair.

"Okay." I try to greet him with a smile.

"Don't wreck yourself out okay? I know it's difficult but you're so strong Cam." He faces me, and puts his hands on my shoulder.

"I'll try Ferry." I trap him in a big hug, which gives me a therapeutic feeling.

Lamine then comes back and jumps onto the couch, putting his arm around me.

"Hows my jelly bean doing." He smiles at me.

"Could be better." I smile at him back.

"Oh my love." He pouts at me and moves me closer, so my head is lying on his shoulder.

"I wanna go back to England." I admit.

"You can't Mila, you have school." Lamine circles his thumb over my shoulder.

"Fuck school, I want Jose back." I mumble.

"I know it's hard, but I know he's okay." He kisses the top of my head and I move closed to him, as a gesture of gratitude.

I nudge Lamine and we both turn around to see Alva and Pearl smiling at each other, talking, and being very close together. We both look at each other and let out giggles.
