Camilla POV

The crisp air of Barcelona blows my hair back in a swift, and gentle movement. The crowd around me roar in passion with excitement, as their passion floats around the atmosphere i'm surrounded by. The love created by this game gives me goosebumps, as you join a new family to welcome you.

The final whistle was once blown for the last time of the 2024/2025 season of the la liga. Barcelona are once again invited to conquer Spain with their name written in the history books of the competition, we become champions once again.

I was however beaming, since football was always my admiration since I was a child. As growing up in themes like these, you learn to be grateful and love what was your past and your future ahead.

"Congratulations Mija." Fernando pats my back and says in an exciting tone. Fernando and Pedri have always been my best friends, yes they are my cousins in blood, but not all cousins share the bond we've had for so many years.

"Gracias, hermano." I return his gesture by trapping him in an embrace, we would both watch Pedri play for so many years, and now to know he was a Spanish champion felt heart-warming.

Me and Fernando had a great conversation about the game, and how fantastic they played, until we got told by security we were allowed to go join the players celebrations.

As my parents were abroad for my brother's university open day, they sadly couldn't attend and watch Pedri win tonight. Fortunately, I get to stay with The Gonzalez family until they departure back.

I follow Fernando, Tio and Tia until we reach the field. As I look around, many players are here with either their parents, their partners, their children and they all plastered the same look of pride and admiration to each other.

With children running around together and kicking the ball, girlfriends and wifes talking to each other, I stood there embracing this welcoming environment around me.

My family quickly found Pedri, and ran towards him and celebrated with him, I was too distracted which was good, as they took their time to be together as their own little bubble.

I've always admired their family, nothing in the world can ever tear them apart. Now ofcourse, my parents and brother are the best thing ever in my life, but seeing my other side of the family so inlove makes me believe that no love can ever be more important than family love.

Pedri spots me and quickly runs to me and traps me in a tight hug, spinning me around as he did so.

"You did it." I pant as I look at him, smiling.

"I did it." He looked at me in pride, trapping me in another hug.

He eventually puts me down and Tia speaks up about how proud she is with his perseverance today, and the rest of the family discuss so.

I decide to excuse myself to roam around the now empty stadium, with no-one but the players and their family.

My eyes quickly meet Pablo Gavi. He was also one of my very good friends, since Pedri introduced us when he moved here to play at Barca.

Pablo runs to me and hugs me gently. I quickly return the gesture. I pull away and smile at him and he does the same.

"I'm so proud of you, you don't understand how much." I spoke up before he did.

"I really am amazing." He looks up to the sky in disbelief.

"You came back stronger after your injury, and you proved everyone wrong." I shook his shoulders to get him back to reality.

"I'm more than proud I did." He shook mine back.

More players decide to take Pablo away, before so, they all greet me and I do the same, expressing my congratulations. They all left and celebrated together, so I sat on the players bench to wait for the rest of my family to finish celebrating, while I did so, I decided to call Jose.

Audio call with Jose.

"They did it Jose!" I scream on the phone to my brother, who has always been a die hard fan of Barcelona.

"No way Cam! I'm so happy, please give Pedri and everyone else my congratulations." He says in the phone, with an obvious exciting tone.

"How's England Hermano." I asked.

"Always rainy, but it's new, I'm so excited to start uni here." He responds back.

"How are mama y papa?" I exclaim.

"They're very happy for me, they've been helping me with all my moving and they decided to take a nap as they were exhausted." He yawns as he says so.

"Okay Jose, just making sure you guys are okay. Please let them know I asked about them and go to bed please, you have a big day tomorrow." I warn him.

"I will Camila, Buenas Noches, I love you." Jose says.

"I love you more, good luck tomorrow." I hung up and smile at the phone, Jose has always been an amazing older brother to me, we rarely argued, he was always there to stick up for me when I got bullied and always made sure I was happy and smiling, even if he wasn't.

I haven't noticed how much I was thinking about my parents until a boy stood in front of me, staring at me.

"Hola?" I ask.

"Hi, sorry, you're just sitting behind my bottle and I really need that back, Ive been waiting for you to finish your phone call." He says sweetly.

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to keep you waiting for so long." I say, while looking for his bottle.

"It's all good, don't you worry." He smiles as me as I hand him his bottle. He walks off before any conversations have started again.

Thinking about the interaction, I knew who exactly he is, this is Lamine Yamal, the young star of Barcelona Fc. He's one of the most gifted footballers out there and he is truly a talent. He's an inspiration to so many young boys.

I see Pedri approaching me as I stood up. "Shall we go?" He asks and I nod in agreement.

We walk to the locker rooms and he packs his stuff as the boys have a party in an hour.

"Where's everyone else?" I question.

"They decided to go home, but Fernando is driving us to the party, so hes getting ready." Pedri continues walking.

"Us?" I look at him weirded out.

"Yeah Cam, unless you don't wanna go." He says.

"Ofcourse i wanna go, Ped." I smile at him.

"Don't ever think about alcohol though young lady, you're 16." He warns me as I let out a giggle.

"17! But you know me." I smirk which makes him laugh.

We approach his car and he starts to drive home. He asks me to meet him in the living room at 10:30.

I got ready in a gorgeous strapless white tank top and a red skirt, I put my curly hair in a claw clip and put on some gold cuffs and jewellery.

I go downstairs to meet Pedri and Fer as they are both going with me.

"You're going in.. that?" Pedri asks.

"What is there a problem?" I ask, and I glance at Fer to see him look confused at Pedri.

Pedri lets out a laugh and leads me to my room. He picks out a short red dress and lays it on the bed.

"I loved the outfit before don't get me wrong, it's just not club themed Cam." He smiles at me, I'm so grateful for his honesty.

I thank him and he leaves the room giving me space to change. Since I have the dress on, I decided to take my hair down and change my shoes to black heels.

I use the stairs and I see Pedri and Fernando both looking at me in admiration.

"There's my little one." Fer smiles.

"I am not little anymore! I'm almost 18 you rats." I frown as they both let out a chuckle.

Pedri opens the door for us and we use Fernando's car, which is way comfier in my opinion.

Let the night begin.
