'19 - Her other half '

A pesky, annoying noise sounded in my ear as I was sleeping; turns out it was just my alarm clock.

I turn it off quickly before Lamine wakes up, but I realise that I am now too late.

"I'm sorry." I whisper.

"It's okay, let me go brush my teeth." He stands up.

"Why?" I ask, curiously.

"Because I want a kiss before you go." I looked at him in awe, I melted at his words. He remembers my pet peeve about smelly people. I nodded at him smiley and went to go brush my teeth in my room too.

I also made sure to check everything being packed, the time of my flight, and if all my chargers, airpods and other things were in my handbag.

I find a knock on my door and turned around to see who it was.

"You ran away." Lamine frowns.

"No! I was gonna go brush my teeth as well." I explain.

"Well have you?" He sassily asks. I hum in response.

It doesn't take him any time but to move the distance between us closer, and then planting his soft, rich lips on mine. God how much I missed this.

He moves my back to the wall, and I move my hands to play with his hair, while his hands are planted on my waist.

We eventually let go to catch breaths, and I couldn't handle myself not to giggle.

"I'm gonna miss you Cam." He stares at me with the look of love.

"Me more, but I need to see Jose, I'm really anxious about him." I look down and start to pick on the skin of my nails. Lamine puts a hand ontop of mine to stop me, and moves me to sit on the bed.

"He'll be okay." He caresses my leg.

"I'm angry he lied at me, and now he's in hospital, how many times will this happen?" I rant to the boy in-front of me.

"Im sure he's just scared of a reaction Mila." He explains.

"You called me Mila." I pout at him.

"What? Do you want me to stop?" He looks at me confused.

"I missed it." I whispered.

"Well." He got closer to me, "I missed you, and Lami."

I giggle as a response to his words. We stare at each other for a while until he places a kiss on my nose.

"I need to get ready." I break the silence.

"Do you need help with anything?" He asks, politely.

"No thank you love." I smile at him, as I start to find an airport fit for today.

"Close ur eyes." I inform Lamine.

"Oh come on! Whyy." He whines.

I threw my pillow at him. "Close your eyes you dirty pig."

He does what I say and I quickly get changed, so I don't leave him waiting in the dark for too long.

"I'm done!" I project my voice, and he opens his eyes.

"You're pretty." He teases me.

"Thank you Lami." I wink at him.
