The four of us are walking along the huge trees and clear pathway.

I've been using some pages in Naomi's journal to take notes of the island. It's clearly inhabited but not by people, at least not people like us.

There are different kinds of scaring in the trees and rock. Some burns, cuts, even unnaturally grown plants hanging around loosely on the floor. If I had to guess, mages are here.

I wonder if this is where they are hidden. It would make for a great spot, sure the island is easy to find but so far we've only run into small monsters created from the grove around us.

Mages are known as mother natures children, most believe they were born from the earth seeing as their powers come naturally and not from a stone.

Though that makes them intimidating to regular charm users who are power hungry. So hence why each royal family has at least two, it's easier to keep an eye on them and study them.

Plus those of the royal family are allegedly not allowed back to their true homes so the royals aren't worried about betrayal.

If Jerios and Esteria are to go to war, it would be devastating considering that the two have some powerful mages.

Sure Wingroar has four of them who actively interact with common folk but as far as I'm concerned and from what Naomi has written down. They aren't of war or fighting.

In fact, Wingroar is a very natural kingdom. They've been in very little wars and it's one of the many reasons it's so populated compared to the other three.

They also have tight borders and control of the outside of the kingdom, they know how to deal with the corrupt and sneaky.

The only other slightly neutral kingdom is Synder, but no one cares about them, as they are so small people forget it exist and the family is quickly dying out, it's now the rampant with bandits and poor folk.

We need to find her before all this shit goes down, Hendrick was recently appointed to be head of Esteria's knights. He's ruthless and hold no mercy for anyone.

Which is why he treats her the way he does, piece of shit.

Also if he ends up getting married to Eve. Not only would that make me the most powerful man in the kingdom, but due to tradition, he must kill the first price and take his place. He will definitely not only make an example of the poor boy but also change laws.
