It had been a couple of minutes since Chaeyoung had arrived at the Myoi mansion. Her arms were perched on the handles of the bike, fingers gripping on the envelope in her hands. She stared at it, working her jaw as she rethinks everything.
Her eyes slowly glanced up, seeing the gray car parked. Her eyes narrowed, not surprised to find him here. She had noticed it when she came up to the driveway but chose to ignore it.
Though, it was bothering her. She shut her eyes, taking a deep breath as she had finalized her decision.
Hopping off the bike, she removed the helmet and placed it on the seat. She took her steps towards and up the main door. She swallowed a lump, afraid of who might be behind the door.
She raised her fist, knocking three times. She took a step back, placing the envelope inside her jacket. She heard the door click and her heart began to race.
Her tense shoulders relaxed when she was met with a face she hadn't seen in quite a while.
"Chaeyoung!" Asa smiled widely, opening the door wider as she ran to hug her. Chaeyoung was a bit startled, smiling softly as she returned the gesture.
"Hey," Chaeyoung greeted, breaking the hug. "How've you been?"
"Tired and annoyed." Asa sighed, crossing her arms. "I miss having you around! None of these other maids help me..." She pouted and Chaeyoung chuckled at that. "What about you? Did you enjoy your break?" Asa turned the question to her.
Chaeyoung was a bit hesitant to reply to that. Asa could see how her eyes adverted everywhere. "I... I had a great time." Chaeyoung managed to answer. "A-Anyway uh, are the Myois home?"
Asa frowned a little, not wanting to pester Chaeyoung with any more questions. "They're wrapping up a meeting, they'll be out shortly. You can wait on the couch, I'll go and prepare some tea to warm you up." Asa smiled and gestured at Chaeyoung to walk in.
"Thanks..." Chaeyoung hesitantly stepped inside, Asa closing the door then taking her leave to the kitchen.
Chaeyoung felt like she was entering this house for the first time. She glanced at the couch, remembering Mina's displeased face when she had first transferred over. Then she recalled the very first words Mina said to her; 'Don't be a problem'.
Chaeyoung gave a weak chuckle at that. What a problem she had become.
She sat on the couch, looking at the study room doors. She began pinching her thigh, trying to get herself together. She was nervous, more nervous than ever.
Her eyes then traveled to the stairs, fighting the urge to head towards them. She knew who was up there, including who she was with. Chaeyoung let out a sad sigh.
In the end, Mina didn't choose her after all.
"Oh! Chaeyoung!" The bodyguard was quick to stand up, seeing the Myois by the doors. They looked happy to see her, a look of relief on their faces as well.
"Good morning," Chaeyoung bowed, nervously standing back up. "I-I... would like to talk to you both."
Mrs Myoi looked at her husband, somehow both of them could get the idea of what this reunion would be about.

Mina sat at the end of her bed, legs up as she scrolled through the numerous missed calls from Momo and Sana. She would call them back and clarify what had happened. However, she couldn't help but feel unsettled with the brooding man standing beside her door, leaning against the wall with his arms crossed.
