Mina stirred awake, her eyes squinting as she tried to see through her dark room. No sunlight was trying to peer in, signifying that it was still night. She slowly sat up, making out the red numbers on her clock beside her. Three in the morning, she must've had fallen asleep after her breakdown.

She kicked the covers, her feet padding across the room to her door. She woke up with hunger, not having eaten her dinner last night. She quietly went down the stairs, eyes darting to the living room and lobby. It was quiet and dark. She looked at the stairs that led to the employees room, worrying her lip.

Her stomach rumbled when she was making way up those stairs, sighing as she redirected herself to the kitchen. She was going to check on Chaeyoung, hopefully to talk to her again about earlier. Sana had encouraged her to fight and not fear Mark. Plus, she had to trust her parents that they wouldn't disown her or anything if Mark did end up exposing that picture.

She quickly stopped the microwave at the last second before it beeped. She took out her now hot dinner, placing it on the table. She sat down, staring at the steaming dish. Her stomach rumbled from the smell but she made no move to grab the utensil.

Her mind was thinking about Chaeyoung and Chaeyoung only. She wondered if the girl was sleeping peacefully. If she wasn't having any nightmares or trouble sleeping because of her. Her glossy eyes were the last image she had of her before Chaeyoung left. How many times does she have to hurt her?

She heard light steps coming from her right, snapping her head to that direction. The girl gasped, holding her chest.

"M-Miss Mina... Sorry I... You startled me..." Asa caught her breath. "I-I'll take my leave, enjoy your dinner-"

"Stay." Mina looked away, gesturing at the chair beside her. Asa looked at her, bewildered. "I don't bite." Mina reassured after not hearing the girl make a move. Asa quickly followed, slowly pulling out the chair. She sat there, her back straight and body tense. She was scared to even breathe, being this close from the young boss.

The two sat in silence, Mina picking at the food. She then dropped the fork, sitting back on the chair.

"What you saw yesterday, do you still remember it?" Mina asked, her arms crossed as she turned her head to Asa.

The maid nervously nodded, rubbing her wrists out of panic. "I-I won't tell anyone about it! I'll also forget that too-"

"No need." Asa glanced at her, "You caught us, right when I was about to kiss her." Mina flatly admitted, Asa's eyes widening. So her assumption was right. Chaeyoung and Mina had something together. What confused her was Chaeyoung denying it. Was this one sided?

"Are you two... dating?" She asked, voice quiet and careful. She was surprised that she spoke without stuttering.

Mina gave a silent chuckle, looking back at her plate. "It pains me that we aren't." Asa frowned, hearing Mina expressing emotions for the first time. To her, Mina seemed...human. "You're not bothered by this?" Mina asked, looking at her again.

"B-By what..?"

"Me falling in love with my bodyguard?" Asa felt her heart ache slightly. Of course she stood no chance against Mina. Chaeyoung would obviously choose her over anyone. "You don't find it odd?"

Asa set her own emotions aside. There was no time to be upset. Chaeyoung had made it clear that they were just friends. A bond that was beyond different than what Chaeyoung and Mina had.

"I don't." Asa replied, relaxed. "In fact, I asked Chaeyoung about it yesterday. I had a feeling that something was going on. I even thought you two looked good together as a couple."
