Okay, so these are raw notes on my thoughts about my Megabot universe timeline/storyline/plot/ideas. I'm hoping that this will actually become a story, it would be so sick.

First, Megabot relations with "normal" Cybertronians, whom the Megabots refer to as "Small Bots".

Most Small Bots don't meet a Megabot unless they're in a profession where they're working alongside them. Megabots are simply too massive to be in places populated by Small Bots, so they mostly hang out with their own, working with Small Bots at jobs. As mentioned previously, these were often in trade through spacebridges, or really big construction projects. After the spacebridges were shut down during the rust plague, "Megastations" were built as places for Megabots to transport smaller bots and cargo all around the planet, essentially becoming the planes of Cybertron. That wasn't all of them, though, others were politicians, gladiators, construction workers, even explorers and scientists, though in the caste system, this was rarer, unfortunately.

It is also worth noting that there are significantly fewer Megabots than "Small Bots". They make up a small portion of the population, meaning they are few, but are no less important to society.

When the war started, despite most of the Megabots being in the lower working class, most (about 65%) ended up joining the Autobots, and that was actually simply because Optimus got to them first. He managed to get the Megabot member of the High Council, Stratosphere, on his side during the whole court debate that drew the lines between Autobot and Decepticon, and that had a ton of influence on the rest of the Megabot population, as they trusted him greatly. The older Megabots could remember the sense of fulfillment they got during the Golden Age, when they carried precious cargo to far-off worlds and saw the universe. In Megabot culture (they have their own little sphere), the elders are always to be respected, if not followed; which most younger Megabots did. The few Megabots that ended up joining Megatron were those younger bots that were embittered by their treatment as transportation rather than their own beings and agreed with Megatron more.

Next, let's talk about "Megacamp."

"Megacamp" is just it's nickname. It's actually called Camp Stratosphere, named for the council bot who founded it and was killed in one of the biggest, most important battles of the war. This is the place where Megabots are trained for their role in the war, and where they are trained to work with a crew. Crews are typically 10-20 bots, depending on the size of the Megabot, but each have an important role, and all must have a good relationship with each other and their Megabot.

Traditionally, Megabot crews are fliers. This is so that if the Megabot goes down, the crew has a chance of escaping, as well as so the crew can give the Megabot aerial support if needed. This is also why there aren't very many fliers on the front lines on the Autobot side of the battlefield, seeing how few joined their side.

In Camp Stratosphere, Megabots are trained in aerial combat, and taught how to communicate with their team and crew and the general goings-on of warfare. Before Small Bots qualify for and arrive at camp, they've gone through their equivalent of Basic Training, so they know combat and military speak. At camp, they're trained in the specifics of working with a Megabot, including aerial warfare and operating their systems.

Also, in this camp, there are no fuck-ups. You act professional or get disciplined. Also, Megabots are disciplined by the Megabots in charge, and the Small Bots by the Small Bots in charge. This is a respect and common sense thing. Of course, that's usually only if they catch you. A side effect of people being in such tight-knit crews is that loyalty runs deep, and snitches end up in ditches here.

Okay, I'm out of time and this is getting long, so I will be posting a part two the next time I decide to update Transformers.

See ya'll!!
