Shattered Glass Transformers Prime AU

 It's about time I got to this AU!

Okay, so the story goes like this: Megatron, a lowly miner bot, was peacefully protesting the unfair caste system, and he was protected from severe punishment by Orion, a higher class bot. Eventually, tensions rose, and Megatron would try to help Orion find the Matrix of Leadership to prevent all-out war.  

 However, Orion had simply been using Megatron to help him find the Matrix, and had wanted the outcome of war all along. He forced the Matrix upon himself, become Nemesis Prime, and Megatron was looked to by those Nemesis sought to oppress, forcing him into the leadership role in the resistance.

His right hand was Commander Starscream, a very unique City Speaker who has the ability to communicate with Cybertronian Titans. Alongside them were Soundwave, an ex-gladiator and spy who lost his voicebox to Nemesis Prime, and Shockwave, one of Cybertron's most prodigious scientists.  

 Eventually, their war found its way to Earth, where Megatron, Soundwave, and Shockwave continued the fight with a team consisting of Skyquake and Dreadwing, Airachnid, and Steve. Nemesis Prime's crew was reduced to Arcee, Bulkhead, Bumblebee, Ratchet, Ultra Magnus, and Smokescreen, along with the Vehicons (who are notably dark blue instead of purple).

The Autobots were the first to make contact with the human government and immediately tricked them into thinking that they were hunting down war criminals, the Decepticons. Agent William Fowler is their link to the government.  

 The Decepticons found themselves allied with an independent organization called M.E.C.H., (you know they don't actually have a clarified acronym in the show? I'm not going to give it one; at least, not for now), led by Silas Bishop. They agreed to help the Decepticons because 1) Silas' adopted daughter, Miko, likes them, 2) they're the best chance Earth has of getting the Autobots off the planet, and 3) the Decepticons, in exchange for their help, agreed to assist M.E.C.H. in exposing corrupt government officials, which is the main purpose of the whole organization.  

 Speaking of Miko, she's the oldest at 16, dresses grunge, loves rock/metal music, spends a lot of time in the gym (so she's jacked), and mechanically smart. Raph is the second oldest at 14 and the most reckless. He loves comics, superheros, action, and anything that will give him an adrenaline rush. He's a sporty kid; very athletic. Jack is the youngest at 12. He's a pretty shy kid, and a lover of video games, being the most internet-savvy of the group. He's not only a gamer, he's also a theater kid. The stage is the one place where he feels like he can really shine, and he's actually very good. He's an excellent actor and singer, actually. He has a passion for musical theater, and is learning to play the flute; he's pretty good.  

 A few plot ideas to get started:

- As they arrive on Earth, Shockwave was captured by the Autobots, and they attempted to force him to create a Spacebridge to get them home and strand the Decepticons on Earth.

> Shockwave refused to do so, but he wouldn't have the resources to do so anyway.

- They meet the kids, who help them to get Shockwave back.

- M.E.C.H. finds out about the Decepticons and provides a few resources to repair Shockwave, along with a place to hide, thereby setting up our longer running story.

Okay, there are a few things you need to know about the bots themselves. Let's start with the Autobots. Rapidfire!  

 Nemesis Prime is purple and yellow, with a sadistic and manipulative personality. Arcee is a temperamental bitch with a red and yellow paint job. Bulkhead is dark orange (though you can barely tell through all his battle scars), and is a mostly silent brute. Bumblebee is ambitious, insecure, and vindictive, and he eventually becomes Goldbug after nearly dying. Smokescreen is black and dark grey, and essentially takes the role of original Starscream, except he's not competent at all. Ultra Magnus is blindly loyal to Nemesis, with a lighter purple colorscheme.

Moving on! Decepticons!  

 Megatron is white and light silver with blue optics and very similar to original Optimus except he did not want this job. Soundwave is white, light blue, and green with a long green data ribbon tied around his head, the tails of which almost reach his pedes; he has some kind of datakinesis, which will be explained in the story. Shockwave is blue with a green optic and is a very intelligent yet compassionate scientist. Starscream has borderline telepathy and has a white and grey colorscheme. Skyquake and Dreadwing are still split-Spark twins with the same green and gold paintjob, and only a few people can tell them apart aside from their personalities (Dreadwing being much more level-headed and Skyquake being more gung-ho). Airachnid was a field medic turned warrior with a lilac paint job (her previous occupation may change). Finally, Steve is a Vehicon who defected to the Decepticons and gained his own personality and paint job (bright red).
