Megabot Notes - Part 3

Alright, let's talk plot!

Where to start?

I think we'll open with a perceived attack on Camp Stratosphere. Kulbit desperately wants to join the fight, but his superior officer Commander Wingover, the Megabot in charge, tells him to stay out of it. It's too dangerous to go in without a crew. Fortunately, it was a false alarm, but Kulbit tells Wingover that he'll fight with or without a crew. Wingover knows that he can't stop Kulbit from going out and doing something stupid, so he promises to find Kulbit a crew, but he makes no promises, because there aren't many Small Bots as crazy as Kulbit.

Cut to Overshoot doing some crazy shit.  

 Axel's character introduction will probably be him watching some kind of Megabot training exercise and accidentally putting himself in danger, and he had to be saved by a couple crewmates, who brought him to Commander Skyfall, the Small Bot in charge. Skyfall and Wingover realized that they found one of their candidates for Kulbit's crew, so they put him through some introductory training that had been a bit tweaked to fit his vehicle form and abilities.

Overshoot is given his last chance and put through this training as well.

Anomaly won't be introduced until after Axel and Overshoot meet each other, and after they've met Kulbit. At first, none of them are sure of each other. Except Axel, he's having a blast.  

 Okay, getting into some more speculative stuff, they need a moment where they finally learn to work together and bond with each other. So, they have to go through some training with each other, obviously, which doesn't go well at first, because they all have their own objectives, and they're not a team yet.

I really want one moment where they finally prove themselves and save everyone's asses. I think it's the moment where they've about had it, and Wingover and Skyfall are considering scrapping the whole experiment, but they pull their shit together finally, and come in at the last second.  

 Each character is going to get their moment of development. Overshoot is going to finally understand what it means to be a part of a family and that lives aren't to be thrown away. Kulbit is going to finally not let every little thing get to him, and he'll finally learn to unclench, because my God. Axel is going to have a moment where he finally gives up, but someone is going to give him some encouragement; I think it would be cool if it were Optimus, but Axel didn't know who he was. Anomaly is going to figure out that he has value, that people care about him, and that not everyone's going to leave him.  

 There is going to be a lot of messing around and playfully making fun of each other; the sheer amount of bromance is going to make everyone spontaneously self-combust.

What am I forgetting?  

 Oh, yeah, this is either going to have a sequel or tie into a bigger story, because this is just the origin story, baby; there is so much more. We'll have to get through Anomaly's trauma (because we haven't even scratched the surface, believe me), all of their exploits during the war, travels through space (and possibly to Earth), and maybearomancebetweentwoormoreofthem but you didn't hear that from me...

Alright, that's all the time I have tonight. I'm gonna continue posting notes about this particular idea, though maybe not consecutively.  

 ALSO: Ya'll remember how I said that I would be posting a Transformers: Earthspark Oneshot book? Well, I have recently figured out that I have not actually finished the whole thing, and I would like to do that before I post that book. I'm super sorry if you were looking forward to it, but I have decided that it will not be going up anytime soon, at least until I finish the series. Again, my apologies.
