Okay, I need to clean up this concept quite a bit. I read back on what I'd written, and it's rushed, and I don't like some of the decisions I made. So, let's refine this a bit, definitely change a few things around. Let's start small, with the humans.
Miko is the eldest at sixteen. She is a technological prodigy, able to build, code, and program just about anything she sets her mind to. Original Miko is a metalhead, this Miko is grunge, with the appropriate aesthetic, style, and music to match, and she's a drummer. She has the same amber-ish eyes, but has choppy black hair that is bleached at the ends and doesn't quite touch her neck. This Miko is also very resourceful and DIY, as well as anti-corporation, meaning she tends to make and thrift everything she owns, which she then makes her own with her artistic skills. All of her talents have been encouraged by her adoptive father, Silas Bishop, who is the leader of a secret group known as M.E.C.H. Being his daughter, she also has legitimate combat skills, and is more than willing to throw down.
Raphael is the second oldest at fourteen. He is a lover and collector of comics and other such superhero memorabilia. He loves being in the middle of the action and enjoys a good adrenaline rush. He has tan-brown skin, messy dark brown hair, and brown eyes. His attire of choice is a white short sleeve t-shirt, an orange hoodie, baggy brown pants, and red and white shoes. He struggles a bit in school, due to having ADHD and the fact that he's bored. His secret talent is that he is a ridiculously good cook, and he either wants to be a content creator or a chef when he grows up. Random skill of his: dancing.
Jack is the youngest at twelve (and a half). A shy kid in conversation, a powerhouse on the theatre stage. Being a talented actor and vocalist, Jack is a different person up on stage – it's the only place he feels like he can shine – and could definitely go far with his skills if he wants, especially in musicals. He's also an avid video game enjoyer who collects older consoles and games. He also has a decent knowledge of technology, but he and Miko have two different skillsets. Jack can build a PC and repair gaming consoles, Miko can build a plasma rifle and help fix the groundbridge. Jack is also the most internet-savvy out of the three, with the most knowledge about how to navigate it and use it to his advantage.
Okay, so M.E.C.H. (still with an unclarified acronym) in this one is like a guild of sorts. They're a secretive organization, separate from any government, that is based in the U.S., though they take people from all over. Led by Silus, M.E.C.H. is a collection of various mercenaries, ex-military, and the world's top scientists, engineers, and mechanics dedicated to keeping the world safe. Silas kinda built the organization on accident. When he was younger, his family was killed by someone – probably an old enemy – and he got some mercenary friends together to get revenge. That's how M.E.C.H. started: just Silus seeking revenge with some friends along for the ride, but through the years, the group grew, and their objective expanded. Now, they didn't just avenge the wronged, they protected people from getting hurt and rescued them from bad situations. Who cared if it was of dubious legality? As a nice bonus to this venture, they got really good at developing technology. Silas and his main crew are still at the helm, and they're still hunting for the one who killed his family. While on an operation sixteen years ago in Japan, they discovered two parents murdered, and their infant daughter left to die. Silus took her in, and M.E.C.H. became Miko's family.
M.E.C.H. agreed to help the Decepticons for three reasons. One: Miko likes them. Two: their objective is to protect their home, their planet, in this case. To do that, they need the Autobots off of Earth, and the Decepticons are their best chance of doing that. Three: the other half of their objective is to protect those who are defenseless and assist those who need help, and the Decepticons need their help.
In spirit with the "everything is opposite," there will be a lot more working with humans in this version, but don't worry, they won't take the spotlight off of the Cybertronians. They're just going to be there more often, especially the main leaders of M.E.C.H. – a.k.a. Miko's fam – and I'll make a point to make them at decent characters.
Okay, that's it for now. I do things in parts like this so that I can focus on one aspect of the story at a time – it helps with organization. Let me know what ya'll think!
See ya'll!!
Thanks! -NikanB
