It's been a long day on set.

I immediately go to a coffee shop after work, and I've found a new one to go to so that I don't run into Noah.

I'm still debating if I should let Noah explain; however, I don't understand what he can explain. He started dating somebody, and I don't want to hear a whole explanation of how it happened.

I hear my phone ding, and it snaps me back to reality.

Allison: Good Morning, happy Sunday! Huey and I invite you to dinner to hang out and discuss the movie. The Royal Wonders at 12 on the dot.

The Royal Wonders has terrific reviews. I've heard that you have to either know somebody who works there to get a reservation or book it out months in advance.

I only have two hours to get ready, but I already know the perfect dress.

I put on my favorite dress that I own, it's a black Hi-Low dress with lace sleeves, and I put on a pair of black pumps.

I put on Burgundy lipstick, which compliments my skin tone very well.

When I arrive at the restaurant, Allison is the only one there, and I go sit down at the table.

"Hey! How are you?" I ask

"I'm good, how are you" She replies.

"I'm excited to get to talk about the movie."

"Yes, we're trying to decide if we're going to make a major change to the movie or not"

"Oh, that might go well... readers are earnest about how the book is portrayed."

"Yes, I'm very aware of that situation; I've been in the business for a while."

After a few minutes, Huey walks into the restaurant and sits down across from me.

"Hello! Sorry for almost being late," He says.

"No worries," Allison says.

"It looks like Noah is going to be late," I say.

"He hasn't been on the top of his game recently, Danielle. Are you two still fighting?" Allison asks.

"Yes, but you don't understand why," I say. "It's not something I want to talk about."

"Maybe you should just hear him out; you'll never know the full story unless you talk to him."

"Why are y'all fighting?" Huey asks.

"This is supposed to be a business meeting, and I don't feel like talking about it right now."

"Of course, I understand," Huey replies.

Ten minutes later, Noah comes strolling into the restaurant, wearing a semi-formal outfit. Something that looks out of place at a restaurant like this.

"Sorry for being late, and I would've dressed up more if I had known this was a fancy restaurant."

"It doesn't matter anymore. It's too late to fix it. We're on a schedule, and you being late doesn't help," Allison snaps.

I look at him, and he looks kind of hurt. He takes a few deep breaths, and I think his anxiety is starting to kick in.

"You look stunning," He says while looking at me

"I know."

He chuckles, but he looks kind of sad. It makes me feel bad, but I have to stand my ground.

Noahs leans towards me. "Can we talk?"

"No, I came here to discuss business, and that's all I'm discussing it."

"Okay, now that everybody is here," Allison glares at Noah. "The major change that we're debating on is changing the ending."

"How can you even change the ending?" I ask, "That doesn't even make sense."

"At the end of the movie, they end up leaving together to go college, but in the movie, we want them to leave to separate colleges for a more dramatic flair," Huey explains.

"That's stupid," Noah says. "No offense."

"As much as I hate agreeing with Noah, I have to agree in this situation. It's too different from the movie, so they wouldn't even end up together?" I say

"Thanks for your opinions, but we both like the idea. It's also from a marketing point of view. The book has a happy ending, and the movie doesn't. So that means if people don't like the ending of the movie, then they would buy the book for the happy ending." Allison explains.

"This honestly isn't a good idea. I'm warning you; people will hate this movie and possibly you. Just think about it," Noah says.

"We will take what you both have said into account, thank you for your opinions," Huey says. "Now, let's eat. Lunch is on me."

After everybody is finished eating, Huey pays. Huey and Allison leave first. I get up to go when I feel somebody grab my arm.

"What do you want?" I ask.

"Can we please talk?"

"Noah, I honestly don't want to get my feelings hurt even more by hearing your whole relationship story. I'm finally starting to feel better."

I remember what Allison told me. Maybe you should just hear him out. You'll never know the whole story unless you talk to him.

I sigh before saying, "Meet me at our coffee shop before work tomorrow."

"Really?" He asks.

"Yes, and don't be late."

"Thank you," he says. "I'm so glad you're going to let me explain."

I feel like I'm going to regret my decision once I hear the entire story of how he fell in love with another girl in a short few days.
