Enid's POV:

Wednesday has been spending more time in the bathroom than usual.

Ordinarily, I wouldn't mind, but ever since Dorothy forced Wednesday to throw up just to contract a teeny tiny chip and then did... whatever it was she did to "clean" Wednesday's bathroom, she's been forced to use mine. It doesn't really make much sense, though. I thought she would love those types of memories when she showered.

Whatever. I'm not annoyed. Well... I wouldn't be annoyed if she hadn't retreated into the bathroom every time her and Bianca hung out. What the hell does she even do in there?

"WEDNESDAY! HURRY UP IN THERE!" I shout, banging on the door.

There's no response.

"HURRY UP, I GOTTA PISS—"

Wednesday walks out of the bathroom, her clothes soaked, makeup dripping, the whole lot.

"What." She deadpans.

"Nothing... nothing at all."

Wednesday does something akin to rolling her eyes, and storms off to her closet to change.

"I was drowning myself." She starts simply, sitting at her desk chair after changing into some dry, comfortable clothes.

"...Why?"

"It is calming. A good way to regulate my... emotions." She reluctantly admits.

I'll tell you, Wednesday is probably the most dramatic person I have ever met. Like— she's fine with me saving her from potential kidnappers and murderers but she's too proud to admit that she's happy about a crush?

"Good day with Bianca, then? We all saw her chasing you at lunch." I gasp as I consider something. "Oh my God, did you finally get to live your 'Prey/Predator' fantasy?"

She smiles, nodding. I squeal, ignoring the way that Wednesday covers her ears as I do so!

I'm so happy for her! Personally I'm not into that sort of stuff, but Wednesday has always been a little... spooky? So good for her!

"Tell me everything right now!"

She stands and moves to her bed to grab her black blanket, and then makes her way to my bed. That's how I know it's going to be a long, good story. Normally she wouldn't even bother to move.

She lays the blanket down on my bed before making herself comfortable.

"Last night, I found myself in Bianca's room."

"You mean when you loudly snuck out and woke me up?"

"Do you want to hear this or not?" She bites back, glaring at me.

"Okay, okay, sorry!"

She takes a deep breath before starting again. "As I was saying, I mysteriously found myself in her room after she had texted me, telling me to..." She blinks, looking a bit cringed out. "Actually, read the messages for yourself. I think I was more attracted to the moment than the actual words." She takes out her phone, opens Bianca's messages, and lets me see what she sent yesterday.

WAIT THAT'S SO CUTE! Why is Wednesday cringed out!?

"Wednesday, what are you talking about? This is literally modern day poetry."
