Bianca's POV:
Wednesday walks over to the bathroom and I go to her drawer, looking for the tissues.
I see two packs, but one of them is mint scented? Doesn't that burn?
What am I saying, of course it burns. That's probably Wednesday's favourite part.
I pick up the tissues, but then see a letter addressed to me underneath it.
"You're stealing my mail now, Wednesday." I chuckle to myself, taking the letter out.
I quickly recognise Wednesdays typewriting. I'm sure she won't mind if I take a small peek. It's probably a poem. She's romantic like that.
To my Bianca...
I smile a little at the affection. I'm hers. I know that's right. I continue to read.
There are a few things I wish to discuss with you. I am here if you have any questions for me by the end of this, I can understand your confusion at this current moment.
I wanted to start off by expressing my deepest sympathies for what happened last night. It is not your fault. No one could've predicted that Dorothy would not only break and enter, but also have that much information about our personal lives on her person. I do hate putting all the work on you to resolve this in time for the tournament. If you need any assistance, I am always available.
Okay, she just wants to speak about fencing... why couldn't she just tell me face to face?
Wow, this letter goes on for a while.
With that being said, I believe that something is to change within our current relationship. Last night has proven that it is not safe for us to continue on as lovers, and so I believe it would be best for everyone's safety if we no longer engaged in that way.
Is she... breaking up with me?
Is she serious? After everything? She helps me with my mother, she contracts clues for me, she offers me her unwavering support and loyalty... just to break things off when they get a little hard?
It is then that Wednesday leaves the bathroom. She smiles at me, but pales when she sees what's in my hand.
"Wednesday? What is this?" I start, waving the letter.
"It is... a letter."
I gasp sarcastically. "No way. Is it actually a letter? I thought it was my girlfriend breaking up with me before we even hit the twenty-four hour mark."
"Wow, you are a fast reader." She says under her breath before approaching me. "Look, Bianca—"
"I trusted you!" I speak before she can. "I was supposed to be able to rely on you, to feel secure with you, to get shit done. And now, what? You're leaving because you got a taste of what could happen when this information comes out?"
"That is not true, Bianca."
"Well that is what I read! Suddenly you're so concerned with everyone's safety, but I thought I was your main priority. I never took you for a hero, Wednesday."
"You are! I'm not! Please, if you would just let me explain." She grabs me by my wrists, and I snatch them away as if they're on fire.
"When were you going to give this letter to me?" I ask. "Because it sounds like you've been planning on it all day."
"I mean, yes, I had written it assuming that we would break up but you... I changed my mind. I realised how much you mean to me and—"
"Oh save it." I scoff, looking away. "If you're this indecisive on whether you should be with me, then maybe we shouldn't be together."
