On April 15, 2020 the show finally aired and it was an immediate success. However, a large part of the success was the fans shipping their characters JJ and Kiara (Jiara) like crazy. During season 1, Kiara was with another character named Pope, played by Jonathan Daviss.
Many moments of season 1 were improvised between Rudy and Madison.
For example:
1. The boneyard scene where Kiara takes off her glasses and places them on JJ's face.

2. When the Pogues are on the boat, JJ and Kiara are dancing together and then JJ shakes his head in-between Kiara's boobs when she laughs and smacks him away.
