On September 3, 2020, Outerbanks began season 2 production and once again, there was no rudison content until Madison, Rudy, and JD (Pope) did a collaboration with the brand "Bubble."
Fans thought they would finally get content. While there was content, it wasn't the typical 2020 content we were used to. This was the beginning of them refusing to be near each other.
Bubble themselves were fans of Jiara and knew that people wanted to see Rudy and Madison do a collaboration alone. Emphasis on the alone. Therefore, they planned on having one.
However, that collab never happened. Instead, we got a collab between JD and Rudy. At that time, Rudy was becoming very close to JD (keep this part in mind). Madison was also becoming very close to JD. It got to a point where it felt like they were using JD as a divide in between them.

While they were shooting season two, a photo of them dropped and Madison also posted a TikTok where Rudy appears at the end of it. Suddenly, everyone thought that Rudison was back. They seemed normal right?
