"Boone? What's going on?". Joel asked, noticing the one eyed man's tearful expression as he promptly ran into him on his way back home.
"I can't find Tony". Boone replied anxiously.
"Okay, what do you mean you can't find him?". Joel asked, sharing a look with Tommy as Ellie quietly excused herself to go hang out with Cedar.
"We got into an argument during our therapy session on Tuesday so he's been sleeping on the couch the last two nights, when I went to wake him this morning I noticed that he was gone". Boone rattled off.
"Maybe he went for a walk to clear his head or something?". Tommy suggested, not wanting to jump to any conclusions.
"He wouldn't do that without leaving me a note or something first". Boone replied with a shake of his head.
"Let's check around Grand Teton, maybe he went out there". Tommy suggested as he led the way to the park with Joel and Boone in tow.
"Shouldn't we yell for him or something?". Boone asked once he arrived at the park with Joel and Tommy nearly two hours later.
"I'm not sure if any Clicker herds have migrated back since the weather's been warming up, It's best if we stay quiet". Tommy replied as the trio began the search for Tony.
Boone frowned but didn't argue as he continued following the Miller brothers through the slush filled woodlands.
"I don't think he's out here, maybe we should call it a day and start searching again tomorrow". Tommy suggested after three hours of searching.
Boone was about to agree but stopped when he heard a twig snap some feet away in front of him. "This way". He said, nodding in the direction he'd heard the noise.
"There he is". Joel whispered, pointing at Tony's lanky body some hundred or so feet away.
"Careful". Tommy whispered as Boone carefully continued walking forward.
"Tony? Please talk to me". Boone pleaded as he stopped six feet away from his fiancé .
"Don't!". Tony called back in a panicked voice, whirling around to reveal the pistol placed against the side of his head.
"I know we're pissed at each other right now but we can work it out alright? Please don't hurt yourself". Boone pleaded once again.
"Boone..". Tommy said wearily as he held his hand over his own holstered pistol.
"Tommy, stand down". Boone instructed calmly as he kept his eyes on his fiancé. "Tony, please put the gun down so we can go home and talk this out".
"I'm sorry". Tony whispered, pulling the gun away from the side of his head and pointing it straight at Boone's forehead.
"Tommy no!". Boone faintly heard Joel yell out as a bullet came whizzing over his shoulder, embedding itself directly into Tony's chest.
"No!". Boone cried out, running over to his fiancé and cradling him as he collapsed.
"Boone". Joel said quietly as he watched the one eyed man cry over his partner's fallen and bloodied form.
"He's dead, you killed him...". Boone announced, glaring at Tommy as he got up and backed away from Tony's body.
"I - I'm sorry, I just -". Tommy stuttered out.
"Tommy, go home". Joel interrupted in a deadly calm voice.
"Joel, I -". Tommy started to say as he shook his head, trying to wrap his head around what he just did.
"Tommy, go home right now!". Joel snapped as he turned to face his younger brother.
