CHASING STAR

CHAPTER 25

Day after the talked of Aiah and Mikha the two become closed to each other. But Mikha somehow still guarded her heart not to fall harder again to Aiah. Kahit pinapakita nila pariho ang care nila sa isa't-isa it was Aiah who always initiate to spend time together.
"hi! bubby I bought you coffee...I have meeting kasi with the event coordinator" Aiah said when she entered Mikha office. Just a little distance Mikha was busy doing her work, naagaw lang atensyon nito ng dumating si Aiah.
"ohh..hi! kanina ka pa?" Mikha ask and recieve the coffee Aiah bought.
"ahh hindi naman.... anyway napadaan lang ako to give those...I gonna go baka naghihintay na si Jeremy" Aiah said while looking to Mikha who's now taking a sip from the coffee.
"hmm...samahan na kita sa meeting mo" Mikha said and grab her phone on her table saka tumayo na.

"ahh..ehh are you sure na sasamahan mo ako? baka may gagawin ka" nahihiyang pahayag ni Aiah. But Mikha didn't listen, she just pulled Aiah to go to their meeting.
"saan meeting nyo?" Tanong ni Mikha habang nakasakay sila sa elevator.
"sa may cafe" maikling sagot ni Aiah naman.
"you can have your meeting naman sa office ko, para nasasamahan narin kita" pahayag ni Mikha ng casual but her thoughts about changing the meeting place was to guard Aiah against Jeremy.
"ahhmm..okay next time I'll tell Jeremy" Aiah said giving a simple smile to Mikha. The latter just nodded as response. They reach the cafe where Jeremy was waiting for Aiah. He was surprised that Aiah was accompany by Mikha. Mas lalong dinikitan ni Mikha si Aiah dahil sa mga nakaw tingin ni Jeremy dito.

Time Passed
Just a minute since their meeting finish and now they're heading out to have their dinner together. Although there not officially together but they acted like one.
"bubby...nag-aya ng group dinner sila Yves" Aiah said when they reach at the parking lot.
"ahmm..... okay saan daw?" Tanong ni Mikha while holding the door of her car to let Aiah get inside first.
Kaagad na umibis sa kabilang pinto si Mikha saka muling bumaling kay Aiah na ngayon kausap sa phone si Yves. After a minute of Aiah talking at her phone bumaling narin ito kay Mikha.
"hmmm....bubby sa Rebuclic nalang daw" Aiah said like trying to get Mikha approval.
"that's not a restaurant bubby.... it's a bar...dinner ang sabi mo kanina" Mikha said while rising her brow's.

"ah....ehh yon sabi nila Yves e...but we can eat nalang somewhere before tayo pumunta sa Republic" Aiah answer again. Mikha started the engine of her car and exit the hotel.
"okay.... your going to drink?" Mikha ask while giving a quick glance to Aiah. She's now driving to the nearest restaurant to have their dinner before pumunta sa Republic.
"kung papayag ka.." Aiah said while looking to Mikha. Nasa parking lot na sila ng isang restaurant.
"Okay...kasama mo naman ako" Mikha response and head out to open the door for Aiah. Inside Aiah thoughts she's very lucky how caring and understanding Mikha ever since at ngayon nya lang nakita ang lahat ng efforts nito.
They quickly have their dinner dahil passed six narin at babyahe pa sila papuntang republic which their friends already there waiting.

Just another hour have passed, Mikha and Aiah arrive at Republic. Sinalubong sila ng ingay ng bar at nion colors of lights. Habang hawak ni Mikha ang kamay ni Aiah she lead the way on the second floor which their friends have their VIP table.

When they reach their friends table kaagad na hinatak nila Yves si Aiah at si Mikha naman kina Cole na katapat lang din ng upuan nila Aiah. Everyone enjoy the drinks and the music.
Just a minute have passed and Aiah together with the other girls become tipsy. Yves starting to dance at hinatak narin nito si Aiah, Sheena at Stacy sa dance floor. Mikha and Cole remain sober as they watch their friends who's now drunk.

Mikha noticed some guys approaching at Aiah's direction kaya kaagad syang tumayo, ganun narin si Cole na nakasunod narin sa kanya. Sininyasan ni Mikha ang mga kalalakihan na huwag didikit sa mga babae nilang kasama at tila gets naman ng mga ito ang pagsinyales. Pero nagulat si Mikha at Cole ng sa kanila lumapit ang mga lalaki at pilit silang pinapasayaw. Kinausap ni Mikha ang mga ito na hindi sya sumasayaw she just accompany her friends. Dahil sa ingay she even come closer to that guys para marinig ng mga ito sinasabi nya.
Habang kausap ni Mikha ang isa sa mga kalalakihan biglang may kumapit sa braso nya at paglingon nya it was Aiah who's now angry looking at her. Kaagad na nag excuse si Mikha sa mga kaharap ganun narin si Cole na nauna ng hinatak ni Yves pabalik sa table nila.
Tahimik silang lahat ng maka-upo na sila. The tension is visible and no one wants to talk first. Aiah quickly grab a glass of drinks at ininom nito kaagad at sumunod narin si Yves.
