As January begins once again, it's the birthday of Nirvaan Mikaayel—the love and life of Kanika Makhija.

Kanika was excited to celebrate Nirvaan's birthday. She had saved up some money to buy him a special gift and asked Tara to pick out a nice watch for him. Tara went to a store and sent Kanika photos of a few options. After looking through them, Kanika chose a sleek, blue elegant watch for Nirvaan.

Kanika asked Nirvaan what he wanted for his birthday, and he jokingly said he wanted a kiss. The problem was, they couldn't go anywhere outside school, and their only chance to meet was there. Kanika hesitated and denied, but Nirvaan playfully insisted, saying, 'If you can't kiss me, I won't celebrate my birthday.'

 Kanika knew how much he loved celebrating his birthday. In 9th grade, she had seen a TikTok video of him enjoying his birthday, and in 10th, although they weren't together, she saw how he celebrated with his cousins and family. Now, in 11th grade, she was determined to make sure he celebrated it the way he loved. After thinking it over, Kanika finally agreed.

The day arrived—January 6th, the birthday of the one and only Nirvaan. As was her tradition for the past three years, Kanika went to the temple on his birthday to pray for his happiness.

After that, they headed to school. Kanika was happy, but she couldn't help but wonder where they could hide from the cameras to share their kiss. After a while, Nirvaan arrived, and she wished him a happy birthday. Soon after, classes began, and it was time for the economics period. The same math teacher from 9th and 10th and now she teach economics, who was a favorite of the trio, was now teaching them as a quartet, since Parth had joined their group too.

The teacher wished Nirvaan a happy birthday and asked him to come forward, distribute chocolates, and take wishes from everyone.

Nirvaan came forward and distributed toffees to everyone. When he reached Kanika, the entire class started hooting, and Kanika blushed. After that, the teacher teased him, saying, 'Is this the only small chocolate you're giving? You should have given a bigger one.' Nirvaan then returned with a Dairy Milk and jokingly said, 'Ma'am, take this.' The teacher laughed and replied, 'No, no, you must have brought this for someone special. Give it to her... anyway, she doesn't even like me, and she'll get upset about it,' the teacher said, then glanced at Kanika with a teasing smile.

Later in class, Kanika gave Nirvaan his gift along with a Dairy Milk. He took it and said, 'Thank you.' During lunch, Nirvaan asked her for a kiss, but Kanika replied, 'I searched everywhere, but there are cameras everywhere, and we can't do that.

Nirvaan got upset and walked away. Shortly after, Vishal came over, returned the gift and chocolate, and said, 'He says he doesn't want it.' Kanika took it, but she was upset as well. At the end of the school day, she handed the gift and chocolate to Tara, saying, 'Keep it with you. I'll take it from you later because I can't take it home—what if someone sees it?' Tara agreed.

At home, Nirvaan and Kanika usually communicated through their WhatsApp DPs, sharing messages in a way that no one at Kanika's home would know they were talking. On that day, Nirvaan changed his DP to a picture of Aditya Roy Kapoor and added the text, 'Sunn raha hai na tu, ro raha tu mein.
