The sun has risen, casting a gentle light across the hospital corridors. The atmosphere is calm, yet the anticipation is palpable as the Goenka family arrives at the hospital to take Akshara home.
In the recovery room, Akshara sits up on the bed, dressed in a simple yet elegant outfit, her face looking better than it did a day ago. But her eyes reflect a different story; they are filled with longing and a hint of desperation. Her mind races and her thoughts only focused on one person.
Akshara (thinking)-Abhi, where are you? Why haven't you come yet? I need to see you... just once before I leave. Please come, Abhi. Why are you making me wait like this?
Just then, Kairav enters the room, followed by the rest of the family. He has a relieved smile on his face, but he's also carrying a hint of concern. Dr. Himanshu steps in right after them, holding the discharge papers.
Dr. Himanshu-Akshara, you're good to go now. But remember, rest is very important. No stress, no strenuous activities for at least a week.
He hands over the discharge papers to Kairav, along with a small bag of medications.
Dr. Himanshu-Kairav, these are her medications. Ensure she takes them on time. If there are any issues, don't hesitate to call me. I've listed down some follow-up instructions as well.
Kairav-Thank you, Dr. Himanshu. We'll take good care of her.
Akshara looks around the room, her eyes searching for a glimpse of Abhimanyu. Her heart clenches when she doesn't see him. She feels a wave of disappointment and sadness wash over her. She bites her lip, trying to hold back the tears threatening to spill.
Akshara (thinking)-You aren't coming, are you, Abhi? After everything... why won't you see me?
Aanchal is inside, standing across from Abhimanyu, who is sitting at his desk, staring blankly at the file in his hands. He looks disheveled, the emotional turmoil visible on his face. Aanchal's eyes soften as she watches him, feeling a pang of sympathy for the man who is struggling with his guilt and pain.
Aanchal-Abhimanyu, you can't keep doing this to yourself. You need to let go of this guilt. What happened was a mistake, but it doesn't mean you have to keep punishing yourself forever.
Abhimanyu closes his eyes, the weight of her words sinking in. He runs a hand through his hair, his expression one of torment.
Abhi-You don't understand, Aanchal. My words... my actions... they caused her so much pain. I hurt her, repeatedly. How can I just walk in there and pretend like everything's okay? I don't deserve her forgiveness. I don't deserve her love
Aanchal steps closer, her voice laced with a mix of empathy and frustration.
Aanchal-You love her, Abhimanyu. And she loves you too. That's what matters. You think you're protecting her by staying away, but you're only hurting her more. She's waiting for you.
Abhimanyu's eyes flicker with pain, and he looks away, unable to meet her gaze. Suddenly Abhimanyu realises his marriage with Aanchal.
Abhi-Ohhh no Aanchal I'm so sorry our Marriage ?? I forgot it just slipped away from my mind with Akshara's surgery I was so tensed...
