Narrator
Ever since the deal made between Sakura and The Hooligans, Sakura had noticed something odd. Y/n and her kept bumping into Yunah but not in proximity. Just at the same locations, at the same times.
Yunah never seemed to notice them when they could both clearly notice her.
It seemed odd to Sakura that they had so many coincidences but no attempt of interaction was ever made. Not even a mere glance in Y/n's direction.
That behavior was weird between exes.
- Minji POV -
"I'm thinking she's either keeping tabs on Y/n or Y/n is being an idiot and keeping tabs on her," Miyawaki was giving me her weekly report.
I sipped on my drink and took a deep breath.
It was hard to imagine that Y/n would do something so stupid but lately... none of us had any idea what was going on in Y/n's head...
First, they want to help out someone from the Yakuza and now Sakura tells us that Y/n doesn't seem to be fully over Yunah.
"I doubt it," I wanted to give Y/n the benefit of the doubt.
"You have such a soft spot for someone who isn't even part of your gang? What? Are you in love or something?" Miyawaki taunted.
Miss Miyawaki really seemed to like getting under my skin. I didn't mind it much because nothing she said was ever consequential. If anything, I liked to piss her off too.
"What if I am? Would that bother you?" I smirked.
Sakura glared at me before sipping her drink.
"HEYYY!!"
Y/n suddenly ran into my office with a dopey smile.
My heart skipped a beat at the sight.
"Do you not know how to knock?" I sternly asked.
Y/n sarcastically knocked on the door frame and turned to stick their tongue out on me. "Happy?" They scoffed.
"Better," I rolled my eyes.
"What do you want?" I coldly asked.
Y/n walked over to Sakura and wrapped their arms around her waist. "Just here to see my beautiful girlfriend," Y/n taunted.
Miyawaki smirked at me mischievously and I chuckled in amusement.
"I already know the truth... but the rest of the girls don't... so, don't say anything and play your part," I warned.
Sakura had recently explained to me that the reason she didn't care so much about Y/n's interest in Yunah because they weren't actually dating. Miyawaki was just using Y/n as a shield from her dad.
"Yeah, play your part," Sakura-ssi suddenly pulled Y/n into a kiss.
*AAHHEEMM*
I angrily cleared my throat.
Miyawaki then winked at me before excusing herself out of my office.
- Y/N POV -
"Sit," Minji ordered when Sakura-ssi left the room.
I did as I was told and watched as Minji poured herself another drink.
Minji hadn't been much of a drinker but recently she was never in her office without a drink. I always waved it away as stress or something else that didn't concern me. But honestly, I was starting to get worried.
