My name was blake. I was about 5 foot 5,I had blonde hair down just below my shoulders, Blue eyes brimmed with rather long eyelashes plus some well-shaped eyebrows (I must say). My skin was slightly blemished and It wasn't clear, but my makeup seemed to usually work well; i never wore too much makeup though, usually just a layer of mascara along with my eyebrows filled in, some natural looking concealer and a tad of lipgloss/lipstick. I wasn't very tall, my legs were slightly short in proportion to the upper half of my body, I didn't have a huge bum - it was a decent size, and my breasts weren't overly large. I was glad to have quite a small waist and quite a toned stomach. I didn't like my thighs - most girls don't seem to, down to my knowledge. They weren't massive, they weren't small, I guess i would've liked to lose a little weight but I wasn't overly fussed at this point of my life.
I was sixteen and still hadn't had a serious relationship with anyone. I'd kissed a boy before, a few, but it has never fully meant something. It was clearly because of my 'high standards' or just the fact that i'm a fussy ass girl.. Up until this point, I'd never fallen in love; i knew i hadn't because my mother and many other people had warned me how much love hurts and I knew that it was going to hit me hard when it really happened. There were plenty boys at my wretched school, and I was friends or just acquaintances with most of them in my year (year 11). However, about 90% of the boys I knew seemed to turn out to be assholes besides four or five that I was especially good friends with and one who i was closest with. he was called Leo.
At breaks and lunches, I tended to hang out with the same people: a group of nine people including me amd we sat at the same table in the huge canteen in between the extreme jocks and a table that was empty other than four girls who were overly made up and wore OTT clothing (especially for days at school, not exactly a place to dress up). Within our table sat me, my best friends Alicia and Lucy and two of my other close lady friends; Casey and Lauren, along with four boys including Leo and also Brad, Cameron and Shay. You would think, stereotypically, in a group of mix-gender friends there would be two ring-leaders (a male and female, usually in a relationship). But it was different with us, everyone seemed to be equal. I mean, obviously, there were those members of our squad who were vain and um, cocky and in this case it was practically all the boys. In this case, especially Brad.

For some reason, all of my friends seemed to be attractive (meaning my girls). Casey and Lucy both had brown hair, and Alicia and I had blonde. Casey's was longer and curlier, however she straightened it every morning; her eyes were brown and had a feline shape to them, behind black glasses (plus another pair of good eyebrows). She was quite petite and also slightly pale. Lucy had naturally straight brown hair, down to her shoulders, blue eyes closer to shape of rugby balls, long eyelashes and a small nose. Her facial features were, in my opinion, very cute and she looked slightly younger than her age in my opinion; although extremely pretty. Alicia had long, straight blonde hair, blue eyes and nicely-shaped lips. Her face was very feminine. Her nose was ever so slightly bigger than the rest of ours, but it suited the rest of her and complimented her looks. She was quite curvy, yet slim; she had a very beautiful figure in my eyes.
I couldn't had asked for a better set of best friends, they always seemed to be there for me - no matter what, so i was always there for them.
"How many fries do you need you twat?" Leo said as he nudged me in the upper-arm. Banter. "Obviously more than enough." He took a large handful on my chips and dropped them onto his own plate, this usually occured at lunch breaks.
"Excuse me, what a gentleman." I said.
"Never mind, get some more."
"You'll end up eating them Leonardo."
"True, and dont call me that Elizabeth." I hated my full name, and yes Blake sounded nothing like Elizabeth but seeing as I dont like the name i changed it. Elizabeth sounds kinda stuck up... Or maybe it just didn't suit me. My mum got pretty pissed, although i hadn't legally changed it, i just asked everyone (including teachers) to call me by it. Not many people honestly knew my real name other than my closest friends who found out from my parents by mistake. Unfortunately, I had met Leo before I even got into high school. We didnt go to primary together, we met out of circumstance at some swimming centre - he was exactly the same as an 11 year old (personality wise only...). He was immature, overly friendly, flirtatious and hilarious although im not exactly sure in which way he was funny. "Leonardo."
"Elizabeth"
"Leonardo"
"Elizabeth" and seeing as we knew eachother for this length of time, the playful nastiness was unreal and no, i never got offended once.
"Shut up, you sound like an old married couple." Lucy moaned, placed her cutlery down on the table and laughed, the rest of the table agreeing.
"Like thats ever gonna happen." I said.

Fifth period was a bore. Mathematics was lucy's thing, I specialised in the more creative side of school work and totally sucked at most academic subjects. In my maths class was Alicia, Brad, Cameron and I. Seeing as my surname was Daley and Brad's was Dexterson, his desk was beside mine. "Fucking maths," he started, "fucking boring maths."
"Language mister Dexterson." Said Mrs Brooks, tilting her glasses and darting her eyes over to Brad.
"I deeply apologise miss." Brad leaned back into his chair and turned to look at me. "Fuck her." He grinned. I laughed. "But seriously, it will be better when Johnny's here mate." He said and then realised something. I had no clue what he was on about, who the hell was Johnny?
"Johnny?"
"Yeah, new guy. He is coming into our class in like two weeks, me and Leo went to primary with him and have kept in contact. He's such a twat but he's pretty hot not gonna lie to you." He joked. Do guys find joy in insulting eachother?

Two weeks passed and nothing changed. School stayed similar with minor changes including the boys increasingly talking about Johnny and informing us of how incredibly awesome he was and today we was supposedly joining my maths class plus my art class. Third period came and I walked into maths, wearing a pair of tight denim jeans and a loose coral vest top; and i sat down on the chair where i usually sat, sitting in the position i usually sat and staring at the front of the classroom, blowing out my cheeks like i usually did. What wasn't so ordinary about this period was the disappearance of Brad beside me and the appearance of a stranger.
I glared at him, pleasantly surprised by his attractiveness. And he must've noticed me looking.

"Hi, I'm Johnny." He chuckled and grinned, woah, his teeth were so straight. I liked his smile. He had slightly shaggy black hair, tanned skin, dark brown eyes and i also noticed his defined jawline and impressive overall facial structure. "Oh Hello!" I replied, feeling myself blush violently, "I'm, um, Blake. I heard about you."
"I know, I think maybe everyone knows you babe." He smiled again. I was too nervous to ask whether that was a good thing or not, knowing me most probably not.
We talked straight for about twenty minutes, luckily without Mrs brooks noticing - it was probably because of the fact that he was new and the teachers tended to let the, off a little.
"Blake Daley!" She shouted.

"Are you free on the sunday of the christmas holidays?" He asked me, leaning over and whispering.
"Oh, i think so." I shot a huge, probably over-enthusiastic smile and then abruptly decided to act calm... I didn't want to ruin my chances.
"You want to meet up maybe? You know, like me and you. I mean you can bring others if you want-"
"Wait so like town?" I asked.
"Yeah, but kinda more like a coffee and a walk maybe?" He leaned forward even more.
"So, just us two?"
"You decide Blake." he smiled.
"Okay, done. You and me it is."

"Hey guys!" Leo came and sat down on our lunch table later than usual, he walked over to the chair next to ke before realising that Johnny was sat there and then slowly turned and sat next to him.
"You're close with Leo right?" Johnny whispered.
"Yeah I am."
"Me too!" He said as i giggled gently.
"Aye, you two getting a bit close there?" Leo threw an arm around Johnny's neck and they both laughed.
"Yeah i guess so, aye aye!" Johnny said.
"Well cant blame you, she's gorgeous." He said and tucked into his lunch, leaving the rest of us looking at eachother.
