Second chance

I ran and ran, every time my feet hit the ground the sound pounded. Every sound i produced even the tiniest of sounds, i heard it. I was so aware of everything, it was so dark and cold - i hardly knew if i was heading in the right direction. I couldn't bare embarrassing myself so much, imagine the distress i was going to receive back at school (and even out of school in this case). Nothing was stopping me and i felt like nothing COULD stop me.
It took me two minutes to reach my door and when i did, i slammed it open and then slammed it shut. "Elizabeth? Is that you?" Martin shouted from the living room, i ignored him rudely and rushed upstairs and into my room rather angrily. I immediately shut the door behind me and slid down the wall ending up crying hysterically with my knees tucked into my chest. All of a sudden, a noise occurred from the window adjacent from where i was sitting now. I stood up and pulled my dress down a tad after creasing it so much whilst running. I edged towards my window and another quiet 'bang' sounded; i realised someone was throwing pebbles at my window so i rolled up my blinds and swivelled my eyes around and after opening my window, i heard someone call my name. "Blake!" Johnny shouted up to me with his hands cupping his mouth.
"What now? what the fuck do you want with me? To break my heart again, I'm guessing." I cried.
"I need another chance," he began to speak, "you deserve so much better than me. Im so sorry for what i did, i know you'.l never give me another chance but just know that you're a beautiful, caring, funny person who i'll always love. Please..." There was a long, long silence. In fact, it wasn't silent; i could very clearly hear the strong february winds gusting past the two of us as he was shouting up to me, and i could also hear the cars whizzing past him as he stood on my driveway.

My face lost all its emotion at once as i looked down into his wandering eyes. I didn't know whether he meant it or not - i couldn't take it, "another shot? You want another shot." I laughed sarcastically as i ran a numb hand through my hair. A smile grew on my face, "if you really love me, you wouldn't have said what you said, you wouldn't have left me even for a little while, you wouldn't have gotten bored of me. Love isn't like that. Love hurts but you can't give up on it the way you did Johnny. Now i give up on you."
"B-but you just said you can't give up on-" he trembled, beginning to step backwards.
"Sometimes you have to sacrifice what you love when it's ruining you." I screamed as my eyes once again brimmed with tears. He ruffled up his hair and strolled up and down my drive.
"Leo hates me, Blake." He said sadly as he continued to stroll.
"What, why?" I asked.
"Because i mentioned Lia," he began and sounded regretful, "she couldn't come tonight and... Never mind. Just try and forgive me, please."
"I cant."
