Jairaj POV

As I was driving back to the mansion, emotions were surfing inside me. My baby begum is alive, and now I'm sure about it. The spiritual realisation that has just hit me, has transformed me deeply. It took me half an hour to reach the mansion, and I saw the baby pink decorations all around. This must be Armaan's idea because he knows Inayat's favourite colour.

I won't let her tervi happen because she is alive. I barged into the mansion, but no one deciphered that I was there.

"STOP MAKING THESE ARRANGEMENTS."

I bellowed at everyone, and all of them paused for a moment. Ma, Ammi and Ragini bhabhi glanced at each other. Mandakini bhabhi and Rukhsaar ji were inside the kitchen. She came out running. My brothers also seemed shocked.

"Why are you stopping them, Jai? It must happen without hindrance."

Dhanraj bhaiya blurted out, his eyes narrowed at me. Exasperation clearly visible on his face. Why all of them are pissed off by my presence? Are they planning something? No, they are my family.

"My wife is alive, and tervi is performed for dead people."

I asserted, taking steps towards my brothers. Armaan was also standing there, with a flower garland in his hands.

"Jai, come inside."

Balraj bhaiya growled and held my wrists tightly. Why doesn't it feel right? My brothers have never behaved like this with me.

"I WON'T LISTEN TO ANYONE. I know my wife is alive. She is calling me, with each breath she inhales, she is calling me."

I yelped again, scuffling to make him leave my hands, but his hold tightened, and Dhanraj bhaiya also held my biceps from behind, and they began taking me to the stairs.

Even Armaan wasn't stopping them. What kind of shallow love did he have for his sister, that he believed in her fake death?

"Bhaiya, you know this feeling, right? Both of you do, then why are you not trusting me?"

I kept beseeching them, but they didn't listen to me and started dragging me through the stairs. J was on my feet, but I didn't want to move.

"You must understand that your wife is dead, Jai. Now come with me."

Balraj bhaiya groaned again, and hauled me mercilessly to my room.

"Leave me, Bhaiya... please... Dhanraj bhaiya atleast you must trust me."

I implored Dhanraj bhaiya, but he carefully closed the door, locking all three of us inside the room.

"Why don't you get it? The tea stall owner told me that he saw my baby begum getting kidnapped that day."

I told them, tears continuously travelled down my eyes, and I brushed it off roughly.

"Jai, we know it!"

Balraj bhaiya mumbled, his voice suddenly turned sweet, and I gawked at him being flabbergasted.

"You.....you know it?" I muttered, my voice deepened significantly, and trembled too.

"We know that our sister is alive."

Dhanraj bhaiya spoke, and I instantly turned to him,  gulping down. Armaan and Arjun walked into the room, and my breath escalated.

"I've been working to track her location since you all buried that body."

Arjun asserted, shocking me deeply. So they all knew about her, and all of them were searching for her? Thank God, they never believed that she was dead.
