Luna and Jin couldn't stop laughing as they drove back to Luna's house. It was incredibly hilarious that someone wrote an article about Luna supposedly in a date with a mysterious man when she was having lunch with her brother.
"Can you believe it?" Luna said, holding her phone up with a dramatic flair. "Look at the headline! Whispers of Romance: Celebrity Photographer Luna Spotted with Mystery K-Pop Idol in Seoul."
Luna rolled her eyes while Jin focused on the road before them, "hey we would make a pretty good looking couple if we weren't related, you have to give the person some credit."
Luna fake gagged making her brother chuckle, "never say that again. But seriously, what's next? A photo of us playing Monopoly will become an international incident?"
Jin couldn't help but chuckle, shaking his head in disbelief. "Only if 'worldwide handsome' is involved!" he teased, flashing his signature smile that made hearts flutter across the globe. "Honestly though, the fact that someone could twist a family meal into a romantic affair is beyond ridiculous. At this point, we should just start planning our wedding to shut everyone up."
Luna burst into a fit of laughter, her cheeks already flushed from their teasing. "Do you think our 'wedding' would make the front page? 'Kim Siblings Tie the Knot: A Love Story?' Seriously, oppa, what colors would we choose for that?"
"Pastels, obviously. You would want it to be cute and soft!" Jin replied, waggling his eyebrows playfully.
"Ugh, I can already imagine the articles," Luna continued, her voice dripping with exaggeration. "It'll be like, 'Luna Wears a Dress Designed by Mystery Fashion Designer of 2021.' Meanwhile, I'd be running around the house getting the twins ready to go to the doctor's office."
"Now that's a headline I would read!" Jin added, smirking. "But let's get serious for a second. What do you really think about all this? I know the rumors can be annoying."
Luna shook her head, her laughter subdued by a moment of honesty. "You're right; it's annoying. But I also think it's just funny. Like, it's nice to know people care, but c'mon... the gossip mill is out of control. I mean, who gets this riled up about a sibling lunch?"
"Clearly, someone with not enough to do," Jin replied, waving a hand dismissively. "But it does show how much they love you. They've just attached themselves to the wrong idea. As long as you're happy, I couldn't care less what they think. Just keep being you."
Luna smiled, feeling a warm rush of gratitude. "Thanks, oppa. It means a lot that you have my back. But seriously, for future reference, could we stick to board games for our quality time? I'm feeling a bit dramatic after all those comments!"
"And the others will surely want to be part of that," Jin said as he turned into Luna's street.
"And speaking of," Luna said as she showed Jin her phone, "RM is calling."
"Put it on speaker," Jin said and she did as told as she picked his call.
"Loved the article I just read," RM said with a chuckle making Lina roll her eyes while Jin grinned pulling into to the driveway of Luna's house. She had hired a babysitter to watch her six month old twins for a few hours while she caught up with her brother as he would be busy for a while with the rest of the BTS members.
As they parked, Luna glanced at the cozy two-story house that had been her refuge since the twins were born. The crimson walls and white trim of the home glowed warmly in the fading light, an inviting contrast to the chaotic nature of her public life. She turned back to the call with RM, who was still chuckling.
