Pit sleepily opened his eyes. He had just had a dream, but not just any dream. It was a memory, the memory of the day he had first met Mistress Viridi. Depending on which version of him you asked, that day was either the worst or best day of his life. From the perspective of a younger him, that day was the worst ever; he had been rejected by someone he greatly admired, and basically had been rendered homeless in the process. Had Mistress Viridi not found him, his life could have gotten a lot worse from that point. But from his current perspective, that day was a fond memory. If Palutena hadn't rejected him, he might have never met Mistress Viridi, someone who he had grown to greatly admire.

Pit stretched out his limbs. He turned to the small black bird resting in his own mini-bed on his bed-side table. Reaching out his hand slowly, he tapped the crow's head. "Achilles, wake up. It's morning." Pit whispered to his pet. Slowly but surely, Achilles' eyes opened as well. The crow became very alert all of a sudden, and bowed to his master. Pit chuckled. "Good morning Achilles. Did you sleep well?" He asked. The bird nodded. Pit sighed, leaning back. "I had a dream last night. It was about the first time I met Mistress Viridi. Do you remember that?" Achilles nodded again, then jumped on Pit's shoulder, rubbing his head against Pit's cheek. "Of course, buddy. I met you that day, too." Getting off his bed, Pit reached for his laurel crown, which was also on his bedside table. Just like his tunic and wings, the laurel crown was pink.

"Well, Achilles, today isn't going to start itself, is it? Everyone else is probably waiting for us at the garden. Let's not waste any more time." With that, the angel, with a crow on his shoulder, exited his room and made his way toward the temple's garden.

As Pit walked toward the garden, he was joined by Phosphora, Mistress Viridi's second commander. "Well you're up late." She retorted in amusement. Pit raised an eyebrow. "What's that supposed to mean? This is when you and Arlon get up every morning. How am I late?" Phosphora rolled her eyes. "Because most mornings you always beat us there. You and Cragalanche are always there first. Why not today, then?" Pit thought about it for a moment, then replied, "Well, I had a dream last night. Maybe that kept me sleeping a little longer than normal." This peaked Phosphora's curiosity. "Oooo~! A dream? What about?" Pit turned away. "I don't have to tell you. It's my dream."

"Aw, come on Pit! What's it about?"

"Sorry sis, it's a secret."

"Come on big bro! I thought we were family!"

"Ugh, fine. It was about the first time I met Mistress Viridi. There, happy?"

"Well, I thought it'd be more interesting than that. Yeah, I'm satisfied."

"Thank you."

The two eventually arrived at the garden. The garden was huge, and the center of Mistress Viridi's temple. Which made sense, considering she was the Goddess of Nature. All of Mistress Viridi's commanders came here every morning to meditate, because Mistress Viridi said it was good for the mind.

Despite what Phosphora claimed, Cragalanche always beat Pit to the garden every morning. For some reason though, Pit was the one who received the 'Early Riser' title. Not that he complained, as he was pretty sure the rock monster slept in the garden anyway. He felt most comfortable amongst the other natural materials, as he was created in similar fashion to them.
