"Y-you know, you don't have to do this, Mistress Viridi. I'm fine on my own." Pit began, only to be cut off with a wave of the Goddess's hand.
"Nah, I want to help you with this. It's no big deal." She replied with a smirk.
Before them was a platoon of Urgles practicing their flipping technique. Off to the side, a group of Zerts were practicing their aiming. Skreetles were showing off their 'faces' to one another, Hugworms were strangling training dummies, and Clobbers were trading punches. Many different kinds of troops were present, each of them honing their particular skill set.
Usually it was just Pit who was in charge of overseeing the training, but Viridi had decided to tag along today to see how her Children were doing.
She beamed with pride. "Ahh, they're all doing so well!" She exclaimed, looking around the room. "I can't even see the Flages! Good for them!"
Pit surveyed the troops, making a few mental notes before voicing them. "The Pips are getting better at multiplying fast, and the Bladers seem to be improving their stances, but I feel like the Nutskis still need to work on their aim. What do you think, Mistress Viridi?"
"Hmm..." Viridi observed the Nutskis as well. They fired a barrage of shots, but only managed to hit with a few of them. "I see what you mean. They're certainly trying their best, but..."
"...but they'll need to work on their best?" Pit finished for her.
"Definitely."
A Flage suddenly popped into view in front of the pair, causing Pit to jump back in surprise.
"A-aagh! Geez!" He yelped.
Viridi laughed, putting her hands on either side of the Flage's 'face' and beaming affectionately. "That was so good! You're very stealthy, yes you are!!"
Pit regained his composure and laughed along with his Goddess.

The next stop of the day was the Garden. Morning meditation had already been completed, but the upkeep of the place was rather important. It needed to look its best at all times. Usually it was Viridi who did it, being the one with powers that influenced nature so heavily, but Pit had decided that if his Mistress was helping him with his chores, then he should help with hers.
Viridi scrutinized the plants in the garden with judging eyes. She leaned in close to one overgrown bush in particular, prompting it to shy away slightly. "You call that lively?! Show me lively!" She proclaimed, raising her hands in the air. The bush pulsed with life, blooming with countless flowers and strong, healthy leaves. Viridi smiled. "Much better."
Pit, in another part of the garden, watered a yellow rose bush. He then turned to water a pink rose bush. Then a lavender one. There were a lot of rose bushes.

Achilles interrupted them as they walked through the halls towards their next destination and cawed out a demand for a bath. Pit politely asked Viridi if it was ok to take a break from their schedule to do so, and she agreed with a roll of her eyes.
So they stopped and sat for a while as Pit bathed his bird. It was the most time they had to chat so far that day.
"I haven't seen Phosphora all day, Mistress Viridi. Did you send her somewhere, or is she slacking off again?" Pit inquired.
