Skeletor at Snake mountain was reading the diary of his ancestor Skeldon. He was learning more about how he defeated He Ro the first Eternian champion. He figured that it might help him figure out how to defeat He Man.

He-Ro was spending a great deal of time with Azron. I didn't know much about him but something seemed strange. I heard a lot about Trollans and I had feeling that he must be here for something. Whatever it was I was going to find out. I noticed him heading to the castle of Gray skull on a regular basis. I saw him working on something with the blade smith who lived there. It looked like they were making some kind of sword.

"I am serious He Ro I saw them making a sword with Azron," Skeldon said. "I saw it with my own eyes," he said.

"Skeldon I doubt he will use it against us I think he has a reason for it," He Ro said.

Then Azron approached them. "He Ro I want you to come with me it is important. You are to train with me and the other masters of the universe," Azron said. "It is time for you to see your destiny." he said.

Then my best friend left and followed Azron. I was upset wondering if anything would come of this. Whatever it was, I knew I wasn't going to like it at all.

Orko at the royal palace was continuing his reading of Azron's diary to find out about his first predecessor's past.

I had many disagreements with Gorpo. He wasn't too happy about me being blessed by the star tree and given this honor. However I sensed I was needed else where. I saw I was needed on Eternia and off I went to it. There I met young He-Ro and his best friend Skeldon. He-Ro told me how to get to castle Gray skull which was still being built. He became a good friend to me. But his friend Skeldon was skeptical. Then I began to help the blacksmith who lived in the castle along with the other master's of the universe forge the sword of power. I helped it get some magic from my world from me. It has the magic of other world's too and that is what will help give the champion who will wield it his strength. I also helped make another sword called sword of protection. I don't know when it will have it's wielder, but I have feeling since it is of the same metal and magic as the sword of power it will be of someone in close relation of the champion of Eternia. I had a feeling He-Ro was worthy of the sword so I came to find him. I found him and brought him to be trained and prove he was worthy.

"Very good He Ro you have done well," Azron said. "You have proven yourself worthy," he said.

"Worthy? Worthy of what?" He Ro asked.

"Worthy of this," Azron said showing the sword of power. "Take it and say by the power of gray skull," he said.

He Ro took it and held it up high. "By the power of gray skull." He Ro said. Then he was transformed into a stronger version of himself. "Amazing," he said. "I will use this power wisely." he said.

I was proud of He Ro and he has helped me many times. He even helped me get my magic back after it was stolen. I am proud to call him my friend. But I know Gorpo wasn't happy about this at all. He began to empower himself and became corrupt.

"I can hardly believe it," Orko said. "I am amazed that he was able to depend on He Ro like that." he said.

At snake mountain Skeletor continued to read.

My best friend was now champion of Eternia and helped defend against many problems. I continued to train myself and I found something very powerful. I made me very strong it was called the havoc staff. I was becoming powerful and became friends with a mighty force called the Horde. We were going to attack Eternia together. Even Azron's old friend joined in with his followers. We had many battles over the years. After 25 years of fighting I had gained the upper hand because He Ro insisted on fighting the fight with me alone. Because he didn't want anymore masters to be hurt and told Azron to fight his own foe and not worry about him. I fought hard and did the final blow. But I wasn't prepared for the power of gray skull to send out the horde with the last of He Ro's strength. I was sent to live in Snake mountain forever. I knew there would be a line of champions to get the sword but I truly and evilly desire one day me or one my descendants will end the line of the champion permanently. But, I know one thing if the champion has a ringbearer Trollan that Azron predict to help with his fights that his or her assistance will help bring much evil in downfall. When the final battle comes I hope this descendant of mine will be smart enough to find a way to make force even any good won't stand a chance against despite having the strength of the great ringbearer Trollan that was foretold of.

"That was the last page," Skeletor said. "Clearly my ancestor found He Ro's Trollan friend to be one to really drive a wrench in his plans. He Man also has a Trollan friend. He gives me plenty of trouble too. I wonder how I could figure out how to keep him from giving me anymore. Besides that all of He man's friends give me trouble." he said. "I will find a way to stop all of them." he said. "But how?" he said pondering.

Orko was still reading the journal of Azron.

I fought against my old friend Gorpo who had now become the unnamed one because he used forbidden magic and he was stripped of his name. I feel bad I lost this friend to evil. I remember how many times I fought along side He Ro. But today he insisted to fight by himself. He was going to fight the evil Skeldon himself. I was to fight the unnamed one on my own too. It was ferocious fight and I managed to banish him to a far away part of the galaxy but I know one day he will figure out how to return. I found out He Ro had been badly hurt. He thanked me for teaching him and being his friend and died. I felt terrible for what happened. I decided to exile myself on Eternia to punish myself for failing to save He Ro. I also decided along with the other members of Trolla to close, Trolla off the from the rest of the universe except for the part it was in. All of Trollans felt it was our fault this tragedy had happened. We also had the heads of magic of other worlds change there magic so no Trollan good or bad could control it well enough with a conduit or be completely unpredictable with out conduit to keep a Trollan who was like the forbidden one from gaining too much power. I know there will be other champions to take up the sword. But before I closed of Trolla's borders and exiled myself, I foresaw there would be others who would wear my mark. They would do many great things for Trolla. I also foresaw of a very special one who would one day come. He was going to be one of the greatest ringbearers that ever lived. I learned from the vision his name will be...

"Huh it stops there," Orko said. "The rest of the last page is torn off." he said. "It stops mid sentence." he said. "Who is this great ringbearer that Azron had the vision of?" he asked himself.

The day Orko came to breakfast. "Hey Orko had did it go with the book?" Damien asked.

"I found out many things about Azron I found out him and horrible evil Trollan were once friends and then they turned to bitter foes." Orko said. "He was even friends with He Ro the Eternia champion and the Masters of the Universe." he said. "He Ro even once helped him regain his magic after it was stolen," he said. "I was reading the last page but part page was torn off," he said. "It stopped mid sentence, where he was about to mention a name of certain ringbearer. He foresaw the other ringbearers who would come after him. But he spoke of a very special one, but it stops mid sentence before I could get the name," he said.

"Sounds like some kind of mystery," Andra said.

"I am sure the remaining part of the page is some where out there Orko," Adam said. "If the page is magically enchanted for being destroyed like the rest of the book it should be intact so you can read it," he said.

"I sure hope so," Orko said. "Besides from what I read he found his own way be great despite all of his mistakes and I know I can be great on Eternia too despite mine. I just got to figure it out, and who better to help me figure it out than my friends," he said.

Everyone agreed with Orko and were happy he said so.

"Hi in today's story you read how Orko and Skeletor were both looking into past records for answers," Damien said. "The past can answer many questions we may have and how to help us write our future." he said. "There are many ways to learn about the past, and one them is by reading." he said. "There are many books on history just go to your local library and check it out." he said. "Well catch ya later," he said.
