Adam was busy with Cringer brushing his fur. "There you are Cringer all brushed," Adam said.

"Thanks Adam." Cringer said.

Little did Adam know that the great Dragon Granamyr wished to meet him. He wanted to meet the champion of Eternia. To see if humans have changed in some way and to see if he could help the champion and what he was like.

Orko was there and minding his own business. He was busy thinking what to do about his wand it has been broken for years. He was wondering how to fix it still. He had been trying to fix it for a long time.

Then Adam heard something. "Adam, come to castle grayskull at once," the sorceress said.

"Come on time to go to castle grayskull," Adam said.

Orko noticed and came along. "Hey wait for me," Orko said. Orko followed Adam to castle grayskull.

"Adam the great dragon Granamyr wishes to meet He Man the champion of Eternia to talk with him and see if he is worthy of being an ally," the sorceress said.

"I see better get started," Adam said. "By the power of grayskull," he said holding up his sword. "I have the power!" he said turning into He man. Then he turned Cringer into battle cat.

"Let's go to dark smoke where the dragons live," He man said. Orko followed him there.

They made it to Granamyr's home. "Here we are this where Granamyr is suppose to live," He man said.

"Some place," Orko said.

Then Granamyr appeared. "I am Granamyr and you must be He man the new champion," Granamyr said. "I only asked for He man though," he said. "Who is this?" he asked.

"I am Orko," Orko said. "It is an honor to meet you," he said.

Granamyr saw Orko was a Trollan. "You are Trollan aren't you?" Granamyr asked.

"Yes sir, and I help my friend He man whenever I can," Orko said.

Granamyr noticed the oracle ring on Orko's chest. "You are a Ringbearer, I know the Oracle ring on your chest," Granamyr said. "A great and powerful mage emblem with a great responsibility," he said. "I also sense a strong magic and aura from you," he said. "You are destined for great things Orko, and I feel you will do great things," he said. "I have seen Azron in action and he showed me visions of the ones who would come after him," he said.

"You knew the first oracle of Trolla?" Orko asked. "Azron the Oracle of old?" he asked.

"Yes I did," Granamyr said. "I am afraid we lost contact sometime ago, I know you Trollans can live a very long time, you can live as long as us dragons, but I have feeling he is still out there," he said. "I feel that you will do great things to help He man just like Azron helped He-Ro. You and He Man's destiny's I feel are intertwined so you will stay and observe," he said.

"Thank you," Orko said.

"Now He Man are you ready for your test?" Granamyr asked.

"Yes," He Man said.

"He Man you are to go to the Deepest part of evergreen forest and retrieve a golden pine cone from a tree the has man different types of nuts and fruits growing on it." Granamyr said. "There will be obstacles along the way, and they will show me what is in your heart," he said. "Your friend and I will observe your progress," he said. "Do you understand the task at hand?" He asked.

"Yes, I am ready to start," He man said.

Then He man was transported to the deepest part of the evergreen forest. He-man started to make his way through to get to the tree. The he heard something it was an animal stuck in a hunter's trap it looked very scared. "Hang on fella," He-man said. He proceeded to free the animal. "There you go, you're free," he said. Then the animal ran off back to its home.

He-man continued to search for the tree. "Hey you!" He-man heard. He turned and saw a large man. "I am itching to test my strength how about a fight?" The large man asked.

"I won't fight you, maybe we can find another way," He-man said.

"What do you suggest then?" The large man asked.

He-man grabbed a vine and tossed one end to the large man. "I see tug of war, great idea," the large man said.

They were pulling and He-man managed to pull the man into the mud. "Are you okay?" He-man asked.

"Yes I am just fine," The large man said. "You sure are strong," he said laughing. "Now I better go home and wash off," he said.

Orko and Granamyr were watching. "So far so good," Orko said.

"Something seems to be troubling you Orko," Granamyr said. "I can sense it and see it," he said.

"Okay since my magic doesn't work right on Eternia and with my wand being broken for eight years, it makes matters worse," Orko said. "Since my wand is broken I don't have a conduit to help control my magic better," he said. "I make a lot of mistakes and not to mention I doubt because of it I can live up to my predecessors and be more of an actual help to He-man," he said.

"I can understand your struggle due to broken wand and the fact since the death of the first champion, and Azron having the magic of other worlds made very different from your home world of Trolla." Granamyr said. "But as you know we all make mistakes," he said. "He-man obviously trusts you and values you, if he didn't he wouldn't have brought you to meet me with him or have you observe his testing. He sees you as a trusted ally and friend," he said. "So trust in yourself more and one day your answers will come and you will have more control of your destiny and be a better ally to He-man." He said.

"I guess I never of it that way," Orko said. "I will try," he said.

Meanwhile He man continued his way through the forest to get to the tree. He heard a call for help. He looked up and there was a young boy in a tree. "I can't get down, I climbed too high," the boy said.

"Hang on, I am coming up," He man said. Then he proceed to climb the tree and took the boy in his arm and climb down. Then boy was set on the ground. "Do be more careful in the future okay?" He said.

"Okay," the young boy said and left.

He-man found the tree and was about to grab the golden pine cone when Whiplash appeared. "Whiplash what an unpleasant surprise," He-man said.

"I saw you come this way and that tree will impress Skeletor for sure so I am going to bring to him," Whiplash said.

"Not if I can do anything about it," He-man said a proceed to toss Whiplash away from the tree. Whiplash came at him again then He-man tossed him in a bunch of tangled up roots with thorns getting him all stuck. When Whiplash pulled himself out he was covered in thorns.

"Ouch I am getting out of here," Whiplash said and ran off.

"That should take care of him," He-man said he proceed to pick the golden pine cone. Then headed back to Granamyr.

"Well done He-man you passed the test and did things that sowed me there is hope for humans," Granamyr said. "I see now you are a fine ally." He said. "I now know a human I can call on for help," he said.

"I will gladly assist you ever do need help Granamyr," He-man said. "I am honored to be your ally," he said.

"In today's story you read how He man was tested by Granamyr. Many of the obstacles he faced were tough," Man at arms said. "One of the obstacles he was challenged to a fight to test strength, but He man wouldn't fight." He said. "Fighting doesn't always prove how strong you are," he said. "It often takes more strength not fight," he said. "Until next time," he said.
