While Gaston was talking to his brothers, he started to feel a little fuzzy. He didn't really think anyone noticed it at all though.

The talk about Lefou was making him feel a bit sad as well, sad for his friend that had always seemed to care for him, even when he hadn't been the best back.

Not really listening to anyone anymore, he tucked his thumb in his mouth, wondering if the man was feeling okay.

"Gaston?" Charles asked, bending down a little to look him in the face. The little made a startled sound and looked up at his bigger brother, surprised.

"Wha?" the little answered, feeling a bit confused when his brother said something and he didn't understand it.

The man frowned at him, and it was clear that an answer was required, but he didn't even know what they were talking about.

Charles looked confused at Gaston, and then suddenly the man said something. Well say is a bit of a stretch at the babble he did, looking all too adorable while he put two fingers in his mouth and looked up at Charles.

"Oh, we did get very little," Charles said, feeling affection for the man he hadn't really know before. His own caregiver's instincts were soaring all of a sudden.

"Perhaps we should retire with him," Adam was quick to say, even when Belle was rolling her eyes. It was clear that she thought he was being over the top right now.

"Oh, we don't mind getting to know him like this," Charles was quick to say, "right Gilles."

"No, of course not," Gilles answered, seeing the little look all too confused. Gaston put a step forward, and nearly fell, but Gilles had seen and had caught him.

"Here, let me get you," Gilles said, grunting when he lifted Gaston in his arms, bouncing him a little when he saw the frown on the face, "hi there."

"Mama?" Gaston asked, looking at Belle, who came to stand near him and patted his leg.

"Look at that, big brother can lift you," Belle said with a smile, knowing that Gaston was feeling unsure of this new situation.

"Big bro?" Gaston said, looking at Gilles and then pointing at Charles, "big bro too?"

"Yes, they are all big brothers," Belle said.

"Dada? Big bro," Gaston said with a grin, pointing at Charles and looking at Adam, who wasn't looking very pleased.

Gaston's grin disappeared at the look, and he looked unsurely at Adam, thinking he had done something wrong.

"Sorry dada," Gaston said, lying his head on Gilles shoulder and putting his fingers back in his mouth, trying to soothe himself and not knowing what he had done wrong exactly, but it had to be him, right? Everyone else was just being normal.

"Nothing to be sorry about," Adam said, morphing back into his beast form and coming to get Gaston from Gilles, who had frozen when he saw the beast approach.

He closed his eyes when the claws came too close, and only dared to open them again when the weight was gone from his arms.

"So, we'll see you guys again at the winter fair," Adam said, clearly not liking it. He held Gaston close, as if he feared that the man would be taken away.

"Adam, behave. They mean well," Belle said, feeling amused, "Gaston would like to meet his brothers. All six of them."

"We will try to come with all of us. We don't live too far away, so we can return in a few weeks," Charles said, daring to walk up to Gaston, and putting his hand on the back, ignoring the huff from the beast, "right Gaston? We'll come back soon."
