The sun peeked through the clouds as Savi arrived at the luxurious mansion belonging to Raghav's family. She felt a knot of anxiety in her stomach; the stakes felt high. Raghav had explained his family's reservations about Meera—especially her background as an orphan—and Savi understood how much this meeting meant for the couple. Today, she was there to offer her support and hoped that Rajat would show up as well.

The expansive home was filled with a mix of modern elegance and traditional charm. Savi took a deep breath and entered, trying to mask her nervousness. Raghav was already there, seated with his parents in the opulent living room. He looked up as she entered, relief washing over his features.

"Thanks for coming, Savi," Raghav said, his voice low but steady.

"Of course. We'll get through this together," she replied, offering a supportive smile.

As they waited, Savi's mind wandered to Rajat. Would he really be able to help them today? Just then, the doorbell rang, and Raghav's parents exchanged glances.

"That must be Rajat," Raghav murmured, his grip tightening on Savi's arm.

Moments later, Rajat walked into the room, exuding confidence. He greeted Raghav's parents warmly, shaking hands with them. Then he turned to Savi, his smile breaking through the tension in the room.

"Hey, Kitty," he said, a playful glint in his eye.

Savi felt a small smile tug at her lips despite the seriousness of the situation. "Good luck charming them," she replied, gesturing towards Raghav's parents.

Rajat nodded, his expression shifting to one of determination. "I'm here for Raghav and Meera. Let's do this."

As they settled into the living room, Raghav's father cleared his throat. "Thank you for coming, Rajat. We appreciate your support in this matter."

"Of course," Rajat said, his tone respectful yet assertive. "I've known Raghav for years, and I care about his happiness."

Raghav's mother exchanged a worried glance with her husband. "Raghav is a good boy, but... we have concerns about Meera's background."

"Meera is like family to me," Rajat declared, his voice steady. "I want you to know that she is important to me. In fact, I see her as a sister."

Savi's eyes widened at Rajat's statement. She hadn't expected him to go that far. Raghav looked equally taken aback but quickly masked it with hope.

Rajat continued, "Family is not just about blood; it's about the bonds we create. Meera has a kind heart, and I've seen how she supports Raghav in every aspect of his life. That's what family means."

Raghav's father furrowed his brow, contemplating Rajat's words. "But she has no one to support her when difficulties arise. We can't have our son marrying someone who is... alone."

"Isn't that exactly why you should accept her?" Rajat countered. "Meera has faced hardships, and she has come out stronger for it. By embracing her, you can help her create a new family with you and Raghav."

Raghav's mother looked sceptical. "But what if she becomes a burden to Raghav? He has his career to think about."

"Then you should support them," Rajat replied calmly. "Love is a partnership. They will face challenges together, and I can assure you that they will rise above them, especially with a family like yours to support them."

Savi watched as Rajat's words began to sink in. Raghav's parents exchanged a look, a flicker of understanding passing between them.

"What you're saying is... you'll help support Meera like a brother would?" Raghav's father asked, his tone softer now.
