The morning light filtered through the curtains, casting a warm, golden glow across the room. Savi stirred first, her body deliciously sore from the night before. A smile crept onto her face as memories of their intimate moments flooded back—every kiss, every whispered word, every promise etched into her heart. She felt a sense of joy she had never known before, a feeling of completeness that came from being with Rajat.
Turning her head slightly, she glanced over at him. Rajat lay next to her, his chest rising and falling steadily in sleep, a peaceful expression on his face. The sight of him, relaxed and at peace, filled her with a rare sense of contentment. For a moment, she just watched him, taking in the way the morning light danced across his features, highlighting the gentle curve of his lips and the strong line of his jaw.
Careful not to wake him, she propped herself up on one elbow and brushed a stray lock of hair from his forehead. The simple gesture felt intimate, a way to express the love that swelled within her. As if sensing her gaze, Rajat stirred, his sleepy eyes fluttering open. When their eyes met, his lips curled into a lazy smile.
"Morning, Mrs. Thakkar," he whispered, his voice husky from sleep.
A warm blush crept across Savi's cheeks at the sound of her new title. "Good morning, Mr. Architect," she teased, leaning down to plant a soft kiss on his lips. But Rajat was quick, wrapping an arm around her waist and flipping her onto her back.
"You're not getting away that easily," he murmured, brushing his nose against hers.
Savi gasped, laughter bubbling up inside her. "Okay, okay! I didn't mean to run away."
Rajat dipped his head, trailing lazy kisses along her collarbone, making her giggle. "Is it running away if I just want a little more of you?" His lips continued their journey, planting soft kisses along her neck and shoulder, igniting her senses.
"Maybe it is," she replied playfully, though her body betrayed her, arching into him. "But I'm not complaining."
"Good," he said, pulling back to look at her. "Because I'm not done yet." His eyes glimmered with mischief as he captured her lips again, kissing her with a fierce intensity that sent shivers down her spine.
As the morning unfolded, the playful affection soon turned heated again, and their bodies tangled in a blissful dance, desire reigniting between them. The sheets rustled, laughter mixed with gasps of pleasure filling the air, as they explored each other once more, savouring every touch as if they couldn't get enough.
Finally, they lay in a blissful haze, wrapped in each other's arms. Savi nestled her head against his chest, feeling the steady rhythm of his heart beneath her cheek. She couldn't help but smile at how right everything felt.
"We're going to be late for breakfast," Savi murmured half-heartedly, tracing circles on his chest with her fingertip.
"Let them wait," Rajat replied, grinning as he tightened his hold around her. "I have everything I need right here."
Savi laughed, her heart swelling with happiness. "I guess that's true." She tilted her head up to meet his gaze, and for a moment, the world outside ceased to exist. It was just them—two souls intertwined, feeling the warmth of each other's love.
"You know," Rajat said, brushing his thumb across her cheek, "last night was even better than I imagined."
Savi felt her cheeks heat up, a mix of shyness and happiness washing over her. "It was pretty perfect, wasn't it?"
He nodded, his expression serious for a moment. "I've never felt this way before, Savi. You make everything feel... right."
Her heart fluttered at his words. "I feel the same. It's like I've known you forever, and now it just feels like home."
