Jessica's POV
It's been a week and my mom is still here. It gets rather old having to avoid her on a daily basis. To top it off she'd been acting weird. Trying to spend time with me, making me breakfast and motherly stuff. It's nice for a change but that means that something is up.
Not only do I have to be avoided someone at home but also at school. Can my life get any worse??? I said as I got comfortable in the settee.
This is the moment my mom decided to make an appearance followed buy a man.
I just had to ask??? I inwardly groaned.
The mom was in a simply blue halter back dress that flowed to her ankle and her raven black hair was flowing to her shoulders in loose curls. The man, was in a short sleeved dress shirt, black jeans and sneakers. He looked familiar.
"Jessica remember that we had something to discuss" She reminded as if I'd forget.
She said it was meant to affect me.
I nodded as she offer the gentleman a seat and sat across from him.
"Well this is Tahj-rae Jordan." She pointed at the man and he nodded in acknowledgement "And he's Shane's father" She added so now I know why he looked familiar
"And your dad as well" She added
She didn't just say what I thought she did.
I looked at her shocked and said the first thing that came to my mouth
"Dafuq?!?!?!"

Taylor's POV
"Hurry the hell up man" Tyler snapped at me. "We have to meet dad then you and I need to talk"
"Shut up I'm coming" I countered taking my time down the stairs.
A perfect Saturday ruined because of some stupid meeting with my dad. As if that wasn't bad enough, Tyler insist on us talking afterwards.
I really needed a break from all this.
I walked pass Tyler and in the passenger side of his Chevy Cruze.
The ride was rather a silent one.
"Why are we meeting with dad?" I asked
I would much rather another video game marathon with the guys or watching football all day. Hell, even spending the day with Kay.
Since late we've been spending a good amount of time alone but still wasn't sure about her.
"He didn't say" Tyler answered "He just said it was something he should have done a long ass time ago and he wasn't going to put it off any longer"
There's a lot of things he should have done a long time ago and if we were gonna be going over all of them, we'll need the whole weekend.
"Where exactly are we meeting him?" I asked him
"55 Rigmarole Avenue" He said "It's some rich people community I think"
"Oh and dad will be staying with us for all of next week for some well needed bonding time or some shit like that he said" Tyler informed me
My life just gets better and better.
The rest of the ride was in silence until we pulled into a beautiful compound. The house was even bigger than mine. The lawns were perfectly manicured, the garden looked beautiful and palm trees lined the drive way.
Whoever lives here gotta practically be rolling in cash.
We parked and made it to the door. We were ushered towards the living room where we were told our dad was.
The sight in front of me caused me to stop short.
Remember when I said my life kept getting better and better...
