Review

Taylor is Kaylor's tutor. Jessica walks in on them kissing. Jessica and Kaylor had an argument while Taylor was in the kitchen where he heard that they were related. Taylor gets moody and goes home late... His brother, Tyler, tried to tell him about Jessica's visit but he blows him off.

Jessica's POV

I woke with a start as I heard movement downstairs. I slowly and quietly got out of bed and took the baseball bat from under my bed. I slowly moved down the stairs to the kitchen where I figured the noise was coming from.

The kitchen light was on and I looked to see my mom sitting on the counter sobbing lightly.

"What the hell???" I yelled at her ignoring the fact that she was crying

She looked up at me with red puffy eyes which she wiped frantically.

She was still in office clothes which meant she just came from the office but the thing that puzzled me is why she was here.

"I'm sorry Jessica" she said in-between sob.

"Why are you here???" I asked getting straight to the point.

"Your father and I are getting a divorce" She informed me getting up from the counter.

"Ok" I said wondering why she was telling me this.

It wasn't going to affect me either way.

"Don't you even want to know why???" She asked in disbelief

"I don't really care because it won't affect me either way" I said bluntly.

She looked at me with a sad smile on her face.

"That's where you're wrong" She stated "It has everything to do with you" She added as I walked out the kitchen.

"Meaning???" I asked annoyed at her vague response

"Jessica we'll have to talk about this at some point but not now" She said.

"Are you serious???" I yelled "You bring it up, I ask about it and you brush it off" I added

"What exactly are you playing at???"

"I just wanted you to know that we needed to talk" She stated tiredly. "But I'd rather to do it another time... Anytime convenient to you darling" She added before walking past me towards her room upstairs.

I watched her until she was no longer in my sight. What on earth could she be yapping about now.

Taylor's POV

I left the house early the following morning to avoid Taylor's wrath and questioning about last night. The last thing I needed was to have in breathing down my neck about something that would get him all upset again.

Plus we weren't really on speaking term since it seemed he already knew about Jessica and didn't tell me shit.

I mused over the events of the past week as I drove my Audi Q5 to school.

I pulled in to and saw that Kaylor was already here as well.

'I might as well get this over with' I mused as I parked my car and walked to where she was.

"Taylor" she said as I walked up to her.

"Hi Kay" I greeted her "Give this to Jessica" I said giving her Jessica's book

"Okay" She said and I started to walk off "Wait" She stopped me

I turned to her.

"Are we still on for the tutoring?" She questioned

I really wanted to say no as I was avoided Jessica like a plague. I just wasn't ready to accept what I heard. I always knew that she was a bitch but ditching family is low. Even for her but then again I wanted to spend time with Kaylor. I don't know why but she intrigued me.

"Taylor?" Kaylor said pulling me from my thoughts

"Yeah. I'll come over later" I told her and she smiled and I walked off.

"Spoke to Jess yet???" Dennis asked his mouth filled with food.

"Dude swallow then talk" Jordan insisted glaring at Dennis.

"Screw you Jordan" Dennis said opening his mouth for us to see everything that was half-chewed and nasty.

"That's disgusting man" Malik scowled hitting him in the back causing the contents from his mouth the drop on Jacob's pants.

"Sorry" Both guys mumbled as they tried not to laugh at the look on Jacob's face.

"Just shut up and let Taylor answer the damn question" Jacob growled at them which effectively shut them up. "So did you?"

"I told you I wasn't going to so asking me such a question is stupid" I snapped at them.

"Then tell Tyler let him talk to her" Jordan suggested.

"Tyler already knew about her" I informed them.

"The Hell???" The said in unison which was rather cool but back to the point.

"I mentioned her name to him and he got tense and angry" I told them "He doesn't know her but he knows of her"

"Didn't we already know this?" Dennis said

"Oh yeah, we did" Malik piped up.

I rolled my eyes at them
