A/N I am back... Will they crash or will they not... Read and find out... You, my readers are awesome... LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!
Jacob swerved out of the car's way just in time but I was already in tears.
That was so close. What if he hadn't move out of the way in time???
Would history had repeated itself???
"Jessica?" He called as he stopped the car
"Jessica are you alright?" He asked his voice laced with concern
"We're okay?" I asked quietly and he nodded
I let out a sigh of relief.
"I thought history was about to repeat itself" I said with a nervous laugh.
"History repeating itself how?" He asked soft
"Forget I said anything" I said wiping away the tears.
I have been crying way too much since 'The Kings' started this school and I need to pull myself together.
This is not like me to be crying in front of anyone... making myself look vulnerable... What is happening to me?
First, I am thinking how gorgeous Jacob is, then he makes me laugh like I haven't done in days, I also allowed him to drive my car and now I am crying in front of him.
And most of all, I almost told him about Shane.
I think I am trusting him too much and surprisingly I like trusting him.
"You can tell me" He said softly.
"Let us get going" I said ignoring him.
"Kay must be worried by now" I said then turned up the radio to the fullest.
I figured he must have gotten the hint cause the rest of the way to school he didn't try to make conversation.
When we arrived at school he gave me my keys then got out of the car and like a gentleman opened my door for me.
"Thanks" I mumbled as I got out
He nodded and walked towards the school building.
"Jacob wait" I called after him
He turned around and looked at me.
I ran up to him and hugged him.
"Thank you for keeping my company and making me laugh I haven't done in ages" I told him
"Thank you" I mumbled again as he returned my hug.
We stayed like that for a while in silence then Kaylor came out.
"Where the hell-" She started but stopped when she noticed us hugging.
"Oh sorry" She said with a half smile
"Kaylor" He said nodding her way them he walked off.
"You've been sneaking off with the bad boy and not telling me?" She asked
"First and foremost he is no bad boy" I started
"Two we didn't sneak off and three stop being so dramatic" I added walking over to where she stood.
"So explain what I just saw?" She challenge
"He followed me to Ranges Pastry Shop and we had a good time so I was telling him thank you" I said matter-of-factually.
"So why did he go instead of me?" She asked yet another question
"Because you were in class" I said
"Stop with all the questions already" I added when she opened her mouth to ask something else.
"Okay let's go to lunch and finish our discussion from this morning" She said pulling me by the hand
Why me lord??? Why me??? I thought as he pulled me into the crowded cafeteria.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"So let's get this straight you're not hiding anything?". Kay asked for the hundredth time
"Kay chill will you" I said with a sigh "You're my BFF and I will always tell you everything" I added
"Sweet" She said "So since we haven't had some good bonding time in ages, we are going to the beach this weekend" She added
I opened my mouth to say something but Kay beat me to it.
"No if or buts about it" She added giving me a stern look.
It doesn't fail to surprise me the way she always stands up to me but when it comes on to other persons like the kings she gets all flustered and quiet.
Not that I want her to be afraid of me but damn man... Can't a man get a break.. geez.
After all this questioning, a few more class for the day, It was time to go home...
As the evening announcements finished was called to collect a message at the front office.
I went in and a neatly folded piece of paper was left for me...
I decided not to read it until l arrived home...
That way if Kay asked me what was on it, I can truthful say that I do not know...
After exchanging goodbyes with Kay, I drove home and to my surprised saw my parents car there.
"What are you doing here?" I asked as I entered the house.
" The last time we check we live here" My father said a little too chirpy for my liking.
"Cut the crap why are you home?" I asked again.
"Well your dad bought Melvin institution and we think it will be best for us to move to Jamaica to monitor the business for at least a year" My mom said
"So what does this have to do to me? " I asked her
"Well we wanted you to know we will be moving in December which is two months from now" My dad said
"We?" I scoffed at them
"When since we do anything together?" I asked getting angry
"Do you really think I would root up my life here so we can go to Jamaica where you will have one more factor as to why we did nothing together?" I said
" I don't care what you say we are going nowhere" I said storming pass them to my room.
Did they really think I would drop everything and go to Jamaica with them...
Yeah, I've always wanted to go to Jamaica but just not with them...
Maybe with Kay... Even with Jacob and Tyler but not with them...
There was a soft knock on the door and then my mom walked in..
"You always wanted to go to Jamaica" She said " You and Shane" She added.
"Your right I always wanted to go with Shane not you or dad, Shane" I said
"After all he was the only one who actually cards about me in this whole stinking family so of course I wanted to go with him" I said
She kept quiet and didn't say anything to me .
She just stood there and looked out of space.
"Hun I am sorry you felt that way" She said
"I truly am" She added
"It is kinda too late for apologies" I told her
"And could you get out, I have things to do" I added turning away from her.
She left as I asked and I fell on to my back and sighed.
For the first time in a long time I had actually had a conversation with my mom...
