(Lou's POV)
So as Chase finished his waffles, he stood up and nodded his head in readiness. "Let's go, then.", I said as we proceeded to the ride. As soon as we hopped in, we began chatting and figuring out what the hell should we say to Jesse.
"What's your scheme?", Chase asked, starting the car. "Wow, not a scheme, Chase. I'm just gonna have to find a way to explain to her, you know.", I answered as he began driving. "Well, what're you gonna tell her?", he once again asked, eyes carefully on the road. "That's the problem, I just don't know!", I replied, throwing my arms in the air. "Can't you say... That you're sorry and-" "Why should I be the one to apologize?!"
"Because Jesse doesn't understand you and her emotions will likewise soften with a little sorry In the beginning of your explanation", Chase suggested as I sigh and look out the window. "God knows what's gonna happen...", I mumble, feeling down.

We stopped by our apartment which I already missed. I place my hands on my waist, glancing around and letting out a deep exhale.
"You sure you don't need company?", Chase said, opening the car window. I shook my head. "It's okay... I don't want you to be a part of this.", I responded as he nodded his head. "Well if you say so. Good luck!", he then zoomed away as I walked inside.
After a few minutes, I was anxiously standing on front of my apartment door. I bit my lip and took a deep breath before quietly knocking on it. My heart pounded and I felt like throwing up.
It's okay, Lou. You can handle it.
Unfortunately, Jesse answered and opened the door. "Jesse, I-" She tried to slam the door shut before I placed my foot in the way. My toes throbbed as I tried to conceal a cry of pain. I fit and wriggled inside at the right time before my body would be squeezed.
"Goddammit, Lou! What are you doing here?! Didn't I say I would never wanna see you again?!", she yelled, pushing me to the door. Her words pierced me but I held back my tears and fought against her force.
"Just hear me out, Jesse! Just listen, please!", I shouted. She let me go and looked at me in disgust.
"I'm really sorry that I upset you but you have to believe it's not my fault... I'm not blaming Max, I'm just saying there's no one to blame, at all! Of course a drunk man has another world so you can't just yell at me... I'm here right now to tell you that I don't wanna be apart from you. I wanna be with you, like a sister does. I wanted to spend time with you but y-you never found time f-for me... so you p-probably loath me n-now for being s-such a cry-baby ass.. but I... I just want you to know that i-i love y-you...", I said, tears pouring straight out of my eyes.
She stared at me, pouting.
"Come here, little sis", she said with open amrs. I grinned and threw my arms around her. "We're twins, Jesse... and I'm older than you by 8 seconds", I laughed as she held me tighter. She giggled as I closed my eyes. I loved her so much, I was so enlightened that she understood me.
"I love you, too, Lou...", she smiled, pulling me in again. "Sorry for screaming at you and thinking you're dimwitted and all that... it's just that... Max is being a bloke. He's not taking our relationship seriously.", she said, upset.
"Why?",I questioned, perplexed. "We tried to talk about this problem but he keeps finding a way through that really sucks... I don't even think he was so drunk by that time. He didn't drink much... I really think he likes you, Lou... it's disgusting. I was thinking about dumping him but I don't know what it can do to me..", she explained, gulping.
I looked at her in awe. What the actual hell, Max?! If he doesn't treat my sister right, soon enough my fist will be punching his face in a brutal manner.
"It's okay, Jesse. I think it's a better idea you guys talk it through until you get to the dead end, where he finally tells the thruth. That way, you'll decide easier and you would figure out what's better for you...", I said, as she rested her head on my shoulder.
"I know... but when I try to just politely speak to him, he would say I'm so paranoid and I'm acting stubborn. Sometimes, I think he doesn't mean it but I guess, he's speaking the truth...", she pouted. "What could I tell him..."
I speculated for a bit.
What stubborn guy would call his girlfriend a dimwitted paranoid? What kind of boyfriend would lie and try to make out with his girlfriend's sister?
Max isn't right and we have to know the truth but this scuffle is difficult. A solution to this is hard to find. What could I do?
"Maybe... you could help me, Lou... you convinced me... That means you could do the same to Max, right? You could be the solution"
Her statement echoed in my head. I began to think deeper.
You could be the solution.
Think deeper...
A dramatic plan wouldn't be applicable...
I could be the solution, eh?
I, Lou.... am the solution...
I could do something...
Hm...I got it.
"I got it! I got the plan...", I smiled. "What is it?", she asked, with shiny, beady, hopeful eyes. I smirked and whsipered to her ear.

We parted with grins plastered on our faces as we speculated about my perfectly planned scheme. It was a scheme after all... and Chase was right.
Sitting in the waiting bench outside, I took out my phone to text Chase that everything was sorted out.
We're gonna have to blow Max's mind with my masterplan.
