Pushing my face away, I turned to find Johnny stood beside us with his arms folded. "Where did you go yesterday?"
"Carls jr." I said with a smile. "You spent the entire school day at carls jr?"
"No. We went to the park." Daniel hugged out. "Do you know where you are right now?" Johnny asks. "Physical education."
"Is that what that stands for?" Daniel asked quietly with his eyes wide. "Yeah."
"After this do you two wanna help me put foam in the lunch hall. It will be very easy. Two simple steps."
"That depends on what we're doing in pe. Will my mood be ruined? Or will I be joyful and fun?"
"Don't they mean the same thing? Or no?" Liam asks. "Or no?" I mimicked. "Do you know what words are? Did you pass a reading test at three or do you choose to speak so incoherent because you find it fun and whimsical?"
"Damn. Liam you made her mad." Smacking Johnny in the chest, Liam walks off quickly. The tennis rackets falling from the cupboard. "Pair up!" Miss Brenner yells.
The three of us moving toward the end of the field. "Why do they have so many tennis nets?" I asked. "Because they had no budget. Are you gonna be joyful and happy?"
"Depends on how bad at tennis you are." Daniel lets out a sigh. "Unfortunately we're both good."
"We got that trust fund talent." Daniel nodded at me, his bottom lip stuck between his teeth as he turns away. "I really prefer badminton."
"Most people do." I wasn't terrible at tennis, my mum always made me do the most random things when she was bored so I had a fair amount of hobbies. Tennis was just one of my least favourites.
"Did I not say pair up?" She says, stood beside me and Daniel. "Yeah but Johnny plays this everyday. Having Daniel play alone is like- child abuse."
"Find a new partner." She raises her eyebrows. "I'm calling child-line." I mumbled, the three of them staring at me, clueless. "Miss can I not just stay. Everybody else is in pairs anyway."
"If any of you start messing around I am going to beat you with that racket." It almost felt like my old school. The tone, the way she stared. I sort of miss the aggression that teachers have.
Watching the boys beside us start to scream, they all stumbled over. My throat burning as I tried not to throw up. "Hey." How original. "No."
"We were all wondering if maybe you'd, like, wanna- do something. We're all pretty fun so you'd have a good time." I can feel my bones trying to rip free. "You've definitely got a personality."
Johnny rests his chin on my head. "She's busy with something worth actual time."
"We're way better than them I mean come on. Seriously this is ridiculous. Look at us. And then you've got rich boy and his trust fund side kick."
"How are you that incompetent and still so confident?" The boy blinks at me. I clear my throat. "Did your brain come unfurnished? Is it out of your limitations to understand the word no?"
"You. Suck." I stick my tongue between my two fingers. Walking away with the tennis ball. "I hate my life." I mumbled, Daniel snatching the ball from my hand. "No! You can't do that! You literally can't. Fuck sake. Pissing me off now."
I reach for the ball, Johnnys hand hitting my forehead. "Oh my god!" Pushing them both backwards, they held out the rackets. Protection against their face with their dicks in perfect target range.
I'd somehow managed to get them both down, snatching the ball. Hitting it across the field so hard that it hit the fence and came off right back.
"Oh yeah!" Both their legs pulled under mine as I fell back. My head hitting the racket. "The three of you, principals office, now."
We practically hobbled there. They kept complaining as if I hit them hard. I barely grazed them. "You guys are baby's."
"Yeah well you're a dick. So, fuck you." Holding my hand over my head. I let out a scoff. "In your dreams you little fish."
"How am I a little fish. You're literally the size of a new born baby." Daniel snickered. "You stupid fuck. I will beat your ass! Fucking fight me!"
"Fine!" Both of us jumped up from the seats, I tackled him backwards, jumping up to wrap my arms around his neck. "Die!"
"I am going to snap your other arm! Let go of me you fucking psycho. Daniel get her off me!" Next thing I know Daniel's picking me up from the floor, all my strength went into trying to get him off me. "Why are we actually waiting here?"
"Daniel's right. Let's go." Jumping onto Johnnys back. We made our way down to the canteen. Johnny handing us all the things we needed. A step by step was given.
"Maybe if you put this much effort into your actual work then your mom would've stayed." Daniel says, both me and Johnny giggling with our heads down. "You can't say that to him."
"I just did. Can I pour this yet?" Johnny nodded, still giggling. "At the same time. Okay, now."
It was like confetti. Just, foam. Foam confetti. It wasn't a complicated thing. I'm still a little high. It went, everywhere. "Holy shit. Holy shit. Go, now. Move quickly."
"Johnny you were told you had one more chance. You're gonna end up a second year senior." I slipped into Daniel, sitting back down on the bench in front of Charlie's office.
"Tyler is gonna kill you." Johnny whispered. "I don't care about that. You can't get expelled. Daniel, you take the blame."
Ten minutes into the yelling and he was quickly informed on the mess. I've never seen a man so mad and yet excited to see something. He had life in his eyes unknown to the human brain.
"You two will have your week's detention. Johnny-"
"It wasn't Johnny." I said. "I was messing around and found a thing in my mums books about the foam thing and so I- I tested it."
"I was in fact, also there. Johnny didn't do anything. He was still recovering from Ginnys brutal attack to the dick."
"Don't say that." I gasped. "Yeah you can't say attack. It was more of a target attack to the dick. I knew what I was doing."
"Stop it. Both of you are cleaning that up. Am I clear?" I squint. "No but you sure are pale enough to get there."
"You, my god I could slap the shit out of you if I didn't like my job. Get out of my office. Both of you will be back here after school to clean that."
We both stuck our thumbs up. "Absolutely right. We'll see you there. Or not. Who knows."
