I wish they were real. I'd have so many edits of them to this song it's actually dreadful.

"You made out with a guy." I said. "You made out with a guy." Johnny spits back. "I have not. Unfortunately my lips are still dry."

"I'd kiss you but Daniel might have my neck. I'm surprised he didn't combust at church this morning. The boy is thinking far too much."

"What do you mean?" I laughed. "His thoughts are just, not the most pg."

"What does that have to do with you kissing me?" He looks down at me, my drink finally empty meaning I can get another. "Really? You don't see it? You haven't seen the amount of times that he's gone to touch you and then moved. Or his eyes."

"No." He rolls his eyes, forcing my drink all the way back. "He wants you. And it was just a little crush. He wanted to just be sweet and simple. I'm convinced he's ovulating."

"Physically impossible." He hums. "I know but it's bad. Seems like it's the only logical option."

"What's happening over here. You're not drunk. You wanna dance with me?" He grabs my shirt, dragging me to the middle, his hands reaching for mine. "I can't dance to this music."

"You can. Just stay close." I really hated this type of dancing. I hated all types of dancing. This is just the worst one of all.

It was always really, intimate. I've never done it but I've seen it. It was just so close. I've never been this close to somebody and it feels strange.

"You need to loosen your arms. Relax." His hands brush over my shoulders. "It's just a dance."

It was practically close enough for me to stick my tongue up his nose. Not that I would, but I could. It was stressing me out.

He seemed so calm about it all and it was such a strange moment to be in. "Atta girl. See you're doing good. Just relax. Come on, we can dance this way outside."

He wasn't very social but everybody just seemed to know who he was. We were a little out of town so it was strange to have all of them know. But it wasn't surprising. "Are you feeling okay?"

"Yeah." I said, falling against the wall. Taking my cigarettes from my pocket. Lazily lifting my head to look at him, I watched his cheeks go red as he smiled. "You're drunk."

"You're drunk." I scoffed back, pulling that same move that Johnny had just pulled with me. "If you need to go home then you just let me know okay. I'll be right there to take you back."

"You're all alone until next week on Thursday." I let out a deep sigh. "I'll be okay."

"It's so sad. People are so mean to you and your family is so mean and you just breath and you do thing for people. Why do you have to live in there alone?"

"Hey no don't cry. It's okay. I'm okay." I started sniffling like an idiot. "It's just so sad. You're pretty and nice and you have a cool car it's just so sad."

"I think your priorities are mixed up. But I'll take it. I'm fine though." Taking a drag of the cigarette, I tried to calm myself down before I said something ridiculously stupid.

He lifts my chin, tapping my nose with his thumb. "Don't go all quiet on me now Ginny." I push his hand away, watching his eyes squint slightly.

His hand resting on my neck as I leaned further into the wall. "You come here often?" I asked, ready to throw up the second I said it. "Smooth talker aren't you Ginny."

"Hey I have to go food shopping tomorrow, I got a little money from Tyler. Did you wanna go with me?" He nodded, almost immediately. "Yeah."

"Hey you wanna go to the beach?" I whispered. His hand was practically glued to mine. We ran through the house. Taking what we had the most drink left. Both of us kissing Johnny on the cheek while he was mid make out.

"Johnny meet at mine after! Yeah?!" He sticks his thumb up. Daniel dragging me away. The running wasn't necessary but it made it more fun.

The waves were getting louder. Setting the shoes to the side with the drink. He set his jacket down. Throwing me over his shoulder. "Hey-"

"Gets us there quicker." Thankfully this part of the beach was pretty much cut off from any little animals. We'd have to go about half an hour down to get something cool.

But it was freezing just about everywhere. "Daniel!" Dragging him under, I pushed myself up, standing up as best I could. "Fuck, it's cold."

"Your hairs everywhere." He pushes it back out of my face. Smiling like an idiot as he steps closer.

I moved myself in, getting as close as I could. Sweeping him clean off his feet and into the water. He grabs my ankle, almost ripping it off when he pulled me under.

Once I got back up I started laughing like an idiot, the betrayal on his face had made it so much funnier. "I'm sorry it was just right there. I couldn't pass it up."

Shaking his head like a dog, the water splashed my eyes. I moved back, looking up for only a second before I saw it. "Holy shit."

Lifting his head up, I pointed out toward the horizon. "You see that?" He shook his head. "That star, the really bright one."

"Oh, yeah." I hold my arm over his shoulder, trying not to fall. "That, is Saturn. Which means that Jupiter is somewhere just over near that red light. There's Cassiopeia. I have that tattooed on my shoulder."

"Yeah? That's your favourite?" I nodded, watching him as he looks around at all the different constellations. "What's that one?"

"Perseus." He looks down, smiling at me with his hand pushing the hair from my cheek. "Smart girl aren't you Ginny." My fingers rest on his belt loops. His eyes frantic as I started to freeze.

This time he really was getting closer. He seemed just about as nervous as I did. His lips grazing over mine before he pulls back, my hands tightening against his jeans.

His lips were cold, pressed against mine with the taste of whatever he drank before we left, still on his lips.

He must've thought I was trying to pull away, his hands moved into my hair. His kisses deeper and somehow still just as gentle. My heart was in my stomach, I felt a little strange but in the best way possible.

He didn't finally pull himself back, the wind picking up quite quickly. "I have been wanting to do that since we met. I mean seriously since the second we met."

"Got a weird way of showing it." I laughed, his hands pulling me in a little closer. "We're gonna freeze to death. I have to get you home."

"Guys!" Johnny yells. Both of us cheering as he ran over with another bottle of alcohol. He drops it by the other, running at us and tackling us into the water.

I haven't laughed this much in years. It felt so nice. My face hurts. "I kissed a boy." He whispered, both of us nodding. "We know."

"Guys what if I don't see the pearly gates? My grandma will kill me." We started to make our way back towards the bottles. "If you don't. See the pearly gates it will not be because you like boys. I can promise you that now." Daniel says.

"Are you sure? I mean my dad kind of knows but dads always do. My mom might kill me. What am I gonna do?" He slurs over his words, kissing the top of my head. "My love what am I gonna do?"

"Live with me. I have an extra room. All ready and made just for you." He nodded, smiling as best he could. "We'll get you through it. It's not like you've changed. You just know something else."
