♡ Awaiting Love ♡

Chapter 01

In my heart, there is pain, in the night, there is loneliness 🥀
Silence of centuries has come into my hands
The evenings are pale, the mornings dim
Who has draped this shroud of sorrow over me? 💔

*The apartment building looks mesmerizing as it reflects the beauty of nature through the full-floor windows throughout the structure. Hide and seek of clouds, giggling of winds and the humming created by the pitter patter on the window pane was nothing less than a beautiful canvas. The raindrops roll down the window pane as it chaotically hits the screen, and the blurriness by the lines of cascading water creates an exceptional scene that is ingrained into the minds of its spectators as it gets captured through the eyes*

*These peaceful moments give relief to some people as everyone relaxes and unwinds with a warm cup of coffee or any beverage, indulges themselves in slow music, and enjoys nature to the fullest. The pleasing and satisfying sounds and the darkness that followed with, it was out of the world as it blocked all the voices out. But one person sighed as he moved around his room with a phone pressed against his ear. He reeked a hand through his hair later he pinched the bridge of his nose and try to be respectful and polite with the woman who was scolding and pleading with him for one hour*

Jungkook: "Eomma I am sorry... But I can't make it to the wedding... I will personally apologize to Hanbin and Appa... I will try to come back soon... I have to go now... Talk to you later... Love you... Bye"
*Words rushed when he proceeded to end the call as soon as possible with less chance of retaliation from the other side. Even the words 'love you' that was supposed to mean something felt void and monotony because it was not spoken out of heart
and love but just duty and respect*

*He sighed again as he closed his eyes and try to recollect himself for a moment but shook his head when past started to knock on the door of consciousness. Leaving the memories and things that haunted him
for years, he sighed and continue his task that got disturbed because of the call. Rain and nature are supposed to give peace to people but he can't feel peace or tranquillity after the call with his mother. Not even the sound or the view from his bedroom's full flood window give him a moment to breathe*

*He gulped as many emotions hit him but he can't feel them, not when he was planning to do something more drastic. Something that will either put an end to all his miseries or increase the burden on his shoulders.
He picked up a jacket and tries to fold it while placing it in the bag with almost half his wardrobe shoved in it when a voice spoke behind him and at that moment he realized that he is not alone*

Patrick: "You should have told her the truth you know"
*He halted in his place as he takes a deep breath knowing that he can't start another argument with another person. Another sigh left his mouth as he turned around to continue his task but still respond to the person who was digging holes into his
skull*

Jungkook: "She doesn't have to know it yet"
*The person who leaned against his closet door, scoffed at his words as he narrowed his eyes in frustration. The thought of hitting him with something, maybe a lamp, chair, or bat sounds more appealing with each passing minute*

Patrick: "Oh right.. How can I forget? She doesn't need to know that the son she pleaded to come and meet her after years, the son who just bluntly rejected to go and attend his only younger brother's marriage... the same man was standing in his room packing his bags because he is going back in next two days? Yeah right, very mature of you Jeon"
*The words were like a harsh slap to his already battered soul. That's when he clenched his teeth, turning around at lightning speed, and snapped at his only support in this world after his family abandoned him*

Jungkook: "I can't tell her because she will have many expectations and you of all people know what will happen when they know about my plan"
*His panting was harsh and heavy but his companion looks unaffected. The man looked at him like he was the dumbest human alive and even when he knew it was true by a fraction, he doesn't wanna accept how absurd this situation is*
