Chapter 06

*Y/n smiled at the guests when they walked past where she is standing with her sister and Hanbin who were busy in their own world. She sighed remembering how the whole evening Hanbin and Adam were on her back to forgive them. Hanbin tried his best to bribe her with all desserts but failed until he offered his credit card which his wife very graciously accepted on behalf of her twin and already making a list of branded items that were enough to give a heart attack to her husband and a reason of their hushed conversation that Y/n ignored*

*But she also made him promise that he will not be rude to his brother, especially not to her. She doesn't want to be the reason for any confrontation, they need to sort out their own issues and anger without involving her. Hanbin tried to escape the condition but Y/n was very determined and he had to give in and be rewarded by her famous heart-melting smile. Adam also came with peace offers as known as
her favorite ice creams and cakes piled on a plate. After the same promise from him, she forgive him too but then he did sometimes that shocked her*

*Yelling in excitement like he achieved a noble prize. He fit bumping the air , side hugging her with a full smile, but soon realized what he did. They quickly pulled away and gulped in nervousness. Y/n gives an awkward smile to him who was red
with embarrassment*

Adam: "Mama is calling. I'm going—I mean, I'm coming..Wait"
*With that, he dashed away while Y/n pretended that she is eating her sweets. Hanbin and Jenna chuckled at the pair and their cute moment but soon started another argument. Y/n sighed feeling defeated and tired altogether, She knew Adam feel for her. She is not dumb or stupid to not see his extra efforts and attempts to make her happy and always be there
for her. She respects him very much but her life is too messy now to drag him further*

*She knew what it mean to wait for something or someone who will never be able to accept you wholeheartedly and
she never wanted that for him*

Y/n in mind: "Someone who is waiting themselves doesn't go with anyone else. Bcz the waiting ends, but the trial doesn’t. I don’t want to become anyone’s trial"
*Shaking her head at her thoughts, She knew, she can't give that lifetime pain to him, not knowingly. Wanting fresh air and a few moments away from fake smiles and attention, she wanted to go but as soon as she put the plate down, it grab the
attention of the bickering duo*

Adam: "Do you need anything, Y/n?"

Hanbin: "Yeah, what happened?"

Y/n: "Nothing... Just need to get fresh"

Hanbin: "I will come with you"
*Both sisters turn to look at him with raised eyebrows and he just frowns not understanding what did he say wrong*

Hanbin: "What? Why are both of you looking at me as if I’ve asked each of you to donate a kidney?"

Jenna: "You want to go with her to the ladies' bathroom to get fresh?"
*Hanbin eyes went wide as he looked between the twins who were fairly amused by his reaction*

Hanbin: "Oh- that kind of fresh"

Y/n: "Yes, the general and human way of getting fresh that you married people won't understand as you only get fresh after sneaking around people and being adventurous in the storeroom..."
*Now it get the attention of both Jenna and Hanbin who gasped at the blunt statement while Y/n glare at them*

Hanbin: "How the hell do you know? I almost felt like a ninja "
*Jenna closed her eyes at her husband's dumb question and indirect admission to the accusations while she felt herself blushing hard as Y/n's sassy words reach her ear*

Y/n: "Yeah, as ninja as you can be with your 5 years old like giggles... but Seriously though, guys? Storeroom? That's the best you can do Oppa? And you sista? I am fairly disappointed"
