♡ Awaiting Love ♡

Chapter 04

*The time went slow and awkwardly, the next two weeks were blurry for everyone in Jeon's house. Jungkook and Ava live in the house like guests, Jungkook had some business work out of nowhere thanks to his friend courtesy who was punishing
him for leaving. He didn't even get a chance to talk with his Aunt Sang-Hee, he tried to convince her to let him go but one sharp gaze was enough to stop him*

*He stays away from the house mostly and Y/n just stays away from them but is always aware of their presence so she can avoid any further interaction. Everyone now stays in their room, while Jenna sometimes cheats and slipped into Y/n's room at night, which irritated her husband but she enjoyed doing it*

*One day Y/n went down at midnight when she saw Jungkook and Ava walking in the backyard and they are laughing, smiing, and talking. She came into the kitchen to get water and saw them through the window. She keeps looking at his mesmerizing face illuminated by the moonlight. She felt pain in her heart, as the sight pinched it because she had always wanted that for herself. His love, his care, his laughter, his smiles, his happiness, his cries, his time, and his pain*

*She had always wanted that for herself but she is ok with whatever her LORD planned for her. She felt a presence beside her and turned around to see Adam standing behind her with a smile that means
he can understand her pain*

Adam: "Are you ok Y/n?"

*He even argued with her but if Jeon Sang-Hee decides something no one can change it. He sighed as he looked ahead dejectedly while Y/n just smile weakly*

Adam: "He doesn't deserve you..."

Y/n: "I know..."

Adam: "You are too good for him"

Y/n: "Maybe.."
*He sighed in defeat as he turned to look at her who looking ahead with a strange emotion in her eyes*

Adam: "Then why are you torturing yourself, Y/n? It's been one month... Leave him before he did. He is happy with his wife- with her and I- We want you to be happy too"
*Y/n turned toward him and looked at him, the intensity of her gaze and emotions shook Adam's entire being*

Y/n: "He did what he wanted to do but I am not selfish enough... I can't hurt them like he did... And I can't let their hate hurt him too"

Adam: "You still love him"
*It was not a question, it was a statement, better one for Adam to pronounce. Y/n took a deep breath as she felt tears blurring her sight and
her voice heavy with emotion*

Y/n: "Maybe..I mean it's not easy to forget a person you were waiting for years... I have loved him since the moment my name was bound with his...I can't- unlove him this easily... Maybe with time, I can.. I still love him... Or what I thought was love. A fraction of that part will always be there because waiting for him all those years made him my addiction..."
*Chuckling humourlessly she whispered the last words with so much heaviness that it almost bring her down and take her one step close to breaking down physically*

Y/n: "I can't get rid of it this soon... I awaited him with bated breath, and he became my ultimate test"
*Adam closed his eyes in pain as he nodded. He can understand her words because he was feeling the same, he had loved her for years just to know that she belonged to someone else, someone who didn't value her like she deserves*

*She was the illusion of better life for him, she was the oasis in the burning desert, the shore in the trashing storms, the rain on barren lands, the wish of an unfortunate person, the prayer of a broken man, and the dream of his sleepless nights. She was
everything unattainable to him, his unrequited love. She was to him what Jungkook was to her*

Adam: "I hope you will with time"

Y/n: "Me too..."
*Nodding and smiling at each other they give one last look outside and turned around*
