Chapter 03

*Everyone in the living room had tears in their eyes and anger was coming in waves from them. Jeon Haneul turned toward his younger brother who was crying in his hands, he felt responsible for his son's deed. Jeon Haerin and Jeon Haneul went to Jeon Hwan and joined hands, asking for forgiveness*

Jeon Haerin: "Please forgive us Hwan Oppa.. We are also responsible for his wrong doing... If we would have slapped some senses into him, if only- Please forgive us.. We failed you and Y/n... My poor child"

*The mere thought of Y/n felt like a stabbing knife to them who looked down with tears streaming down their cheeks*

Jeon Haneul: "Yes, Hwan... Punish us, curse us, do whatever you want but please forgive us..."
*Jeon Hwan wiped his tears as he holds their joined hands, shaking his head*

Jeon Hwan: "No Hyung... Noona... Please don't do this... You can't do anything... This is written in my Y/n's fate. My doll was meant to be broken by the one she loved.. her fate is just similar to mine, it's
no one's fault"

Jeon Haneul: "No... It's our fault... We should have gone and brought him back in the first few years... If we had done that then we will have not seen this day"
*Jeon Hwan cried more as he cursed himself for this day. Remembering how his weakness make him ruin so many lives, how his love and insecurities made him ruin his daughter's life*

Jeon Hwan: "No... No one else is responsible but I... If I didn't beg you to marry her with Jungkook.. If I didn't get scared and unsecured, thinking that my Y/n will also go away from me... If I didn't beg you for this relationship then this wouldn't have happened"
*Jeon Hwan remembers that day he begged and pleaded with his elder brother for marrying his daughter to Jungkook because he was of legal age. Jeon Haneul and  Jeon Haerin were not agreed but looking at Y/n losing herself and Jeon Hwan's pleading, they agreed*

*Jeon Hwan wanted to secure his daughter's future so Kim Aera can't take her away but in that insecurities, he ruined her further. Jungkook was not happy with this, and that is why he went abroad for his graduation and master's after one week, leaving everyone heartbroken and coming back after 13 years just to break them again. Before anyone can say anything they heard crashing sounds and screaming*

*The scream of pure agony and misery, the very familiar voice and it shook them. It took them one moment as the realization drew when another painful howler followed*

Jeon Hwan: "Y/n!!..."
*Jeon Hwan whispered as he ran towards his daughter's room. The whole family was on his tail but stop at the door when they heard her painful crying. They didn't bring themselves to go and see her like this, so broken and damaged so they let Jeon Hwan and Jenna handle her. They all went to their room with teary eyes and heavy hearts, sleeping far away from their mind. Y/n was numb, she didn't utter a single word single they came upstairs*

*Jenna was looking at the statue, Y/n's eyes are void of any emotions, her face pale and her body lifeless. It's been a few minutes now and not a single tear left her eyes. Jenna was crying and talking to her but it's like Y/n can't hear anything at the moment*

Jenna: "Y/n... Baby... Speak, cry, scream, do anything but don't be silent... Please"

Y/n: "I need a moment Jenna"
*She stood up on wobbly legs and moved toward the bathroom with a trembling body. When Jenna moved to follow her Y/n stop her without turning around*

Y/n: "Alone Jenna... Please"
*Jenna whispered 'ok' as she sat back on the bed and look at her baby sister who was the life of this house turned into stone*

Jenna: "Why God? Why?"
*Jenna cried as she put her head in her hands, praying for her future and her mental health*

*Y/n moved toward the sink and stood there looking at the reflection. She frowned at herself, wiping the make-up and smudging it. Keep looking at herself as only thought came into her mind, it was like her whole being believed it*
