We tucked the girls in bed finished chores and headed to our room. -Ashlyn, ok guys all we need to do now is wait for Marissa to come visit tmr and we will be apple to tell her all about miss smith and how she's been treating us.-Ava, what if this doesn't work, what if we get sent away or worse they don't believe us.-Ashlyn, I know this is scary but this is something we have to do not for just us but the girls.-Ava, your right we can do this.-Ashlyn, what ever happens friends?-Ava, yes friends. The next morning Marissa came and the little girls went up stairs with Ava.-Marissa, hi Ashlyn how you been?-Ashlyn, actually Marissa I have to show you something. I pulled out my phone and Miss smith reached across the table and snatched my phone.-Ashlyn, HEY!-Marissa, I'm gonna need you to give me her phone now.-Miss smith, phones aren't aloud here and I never knew she had it this whole time.-Marissa, regardless of your rules this is her belongings and you have no authority to take her things. Marissa grabbed my phone from her hands and Marissa told Miss smith to give me and her a minute.

Miss smith left the room and I told Marissa everything about the girls, and Ava, about the chores and Miss smith taking all there thing. How she leaves the kids alone to go party often and don't let the girls be seen by parents unless there "good".-Marissa, how could this all have been unseen.-Ashlyn, we both know that miss smith has a big reputation so no one thinks to doubt her on her training. And none of the kids but Ava is old even for anyone to believe.-Marissa, so why wouldn't Ava tell anyone.-Ashlyn, because of the no phone rule, Ava couldn't call anyone to tell them and no one came to check on her because she's out the system in 2 months.-Marissa, we definitely have to take her down to the station to drug test her and get statements from all the kids.-Ashlyn, me and Ava already done that I have everyone's statement on my phone along with video footage of how she treated us.

-Marissa, how did you know what to do.-Ashlyn, I didn't all I knew was that I was leaving soon and Ava was to. We couldn't let the girls live in a home like that, it's an orphanage they should be token care of and go to better homes. They deserve it.-Marissa had me send the evidence to her and she told me to take the girls outside along with Ava. Marissa called her dad the sheriff and talked to Miss smith trying to distract her from trying to leave the room. Not to long later her dad showed up and went inside. No one got to hear the conversation he had with Miss smith but all I know is that she wouldn't be taking "care" of the girls anymore. We watched her be handcuffed and put into the car and the sheriff told Marissa what was gonna happen.-Ashlyn, hey what's going on who's gonna replace miss smith.-Marissa, for now the girls will be at the station for a few hours with Ava till I find sigh them to a good orphanage.-Ashlyn, and what about me.-Marissa, I can't send you 6 hours away especially with your grandma's condition, I'll have to pull some strings but imma try to place u in my care till your grandmas health is better.

-Ashlyn,That's good to know, will they be ok the girls and Ava.-Marissa, it's gonna be a big change but I know the people from the bellows orphanage and they will be in great care and find homes. I looked at Ava as they loaded into a bus. They had their bags on their backs half scared half relieved. I ran to her to tell her goodbye. I gave her a big hug along with the other girls.-Ashlyn, please be safe.-Ava, I will, I'll be ok.-Ashlyn, don't forget me.-Ava, never. She took my hand and wrote her number on my arm.-Ava, I got my phone back now so I'll call whenever I can.-Ashlyn, thank you so much.- Kim, im gonna miss you ashy. She cried as she hugged me tight and so did I.-Kim, will I ever see her again.-Ashlyn, I wish I knew Kim but you'll always be my sister and my friend, I will not forget you. It was a sad but rewarding afternoon the house that was an orphanage for 10 years was sold to the bank for less than 40k and miss smith was convicted of child neglect and lying under oath of her profession. I never got to see Kim in person again but I often checked the orphanage Facebook to see the girls grow up. Half the girls were adopted eventually except Ava. I knew she aged out by then I just hope she's ok.

Meanwhile me and Marissa visited my grandma everyday and by a miracle she finally  woke up from her a comma 3 months later, she was paralyzed legs down, and now she has a big scar on her chest but she was alive. My grandma was finally awake.-Grandma, baby I've missed you so much.-Ashlyn, I laid by my grandma and kissed her and hugged her over and over and in that moment all that mattered was her. My bestfriend was here my granny was back and all of that pain from that day was healed.-Ashlyn, Marissa wake up she's awake.-Marissa, omg. Marissa hugged my grandma and we all cried together. It was a heartwarming moment to bad it was only short lived. 12 days later my grandma passed away at 1:34 pm due to a heart attack due to her brain injury from her comma. Apparently it was covered to well for the doctors to catch it before it was too late.

That day I walked in around 2:00pm when they called and told us all I saw was a body being carried out the room on a stretcher and Marissa covered her mouth and cried in her dads arms.-Doctor, I'll let u say goodbye.-Ashlyn, grandma please down leave me please!! I'm sorry I'm sorry I didn't mean for this to happen, I can't believe ur gone I can't lose you again your all I have. I cried on my grandmas legs and held her cold hand. I felt my heart in my throat and my tears suffocating me. I couldn't hear anything or feel anything but my grandma in that moment. I didn't get to tell her goodbye, I wasn't there in her last moments, I never told her it's ok to let go. I just hope she's in a better place happy and well.-Ashlyn, it should have been me grandma I love you so much.
