LEVI    POV

"I wanted you to leave him, to get out of the toxic relationship. I would never want him to get killed."

Levi's eyes narrowed as he listened to Blake's words over the radio.

Hange's eyes met Levi's, her expression concerned. "Levi, maybe we should—"

But Levi cut her off, his voice low and bitter. "No, Hange. Let's just hear him out. See how far he'll go to justify his own cowardice."

Levi's eyes flashed with anger as he thought about Blake's words. How dare he claim to have cared about (y/n)'s well-being when he had done nothing to stop Ryan's abuse?

Levi's jaw clenched in disgust. He had no patience for Blake's hypocrisy. He would do whatever it took to protect (y/n), even if it meant taking down Blake and anyone else who got in his way.

Levi's eyes never left the radio as he listened to Blake's conversation with (y/n). He had secretly installed a hidden microphone under (y/n)'s hospital bed, wanting to keep tabs on her and make sure she was safe.

Hange's eyes met Levi's, a questioning look on her face. But Levi just shook his head, his expression grim. He knew that Hange would have questions, but he wasn't ready to answer them yet.

Levi's mind was racing with thoughts of what he had just heard. Blake's words had confirmed what Levi had suspected all along - that Blake had been hiding something.

Hange shrugged, a wry smile on her face. "They think we're some kind of monsters, don't they?" She chuckled, assuming Levi would join in.

But Levi didn't say a word. His expression remained grim.

"It's not like you were actually going to kill Ryan," she said, trying to lighten the mood.

But Levi still didn't respond. He just kept staring, his face a mask of determination.

Hange's expression changed, a look of realization dawning on her face. She took a step back, her eyes wide with surprise.

"Levi, you're serious, aren't you?" Hange asked, her voice barely above a whisper. "You're actually planning to kill Ryan."

Levi's silence was all the confirmation Hange needed. She looked at Levi with a mixture of shock and concern, unsure of what to say or do next.

Levi's eyes seemed to burn with an inner fire as he thought about Ryan. He wanted to kill him, to make him pay for every ounce of pain and suffering he had inflicted on (y/n).

Levi's jaw clenched in anger as he remembered the way Ryan had hurt (y/n). He had seen the bruises, the scars, the fear in her eyes. And he knew that he would never be able to forgive Ryan for what he had done.

Hange's voice cut through Levi's thoughts, her expression concerned. "Levi—"

But Levi didn't let her finish. He turned and walked away, leaving Hange standing alone in the corridor.

As Levi walked back into the room, he caught the tail end of Blake's conversation with (y/n).

"I'll always be here for you," Blake said, to which (y/n) replied, "Why does everyone keep saying that?"

"Because you're a dumbass who forgets it."

(y/n) and Blake exchanged a nervous glance, their faces pale. Levi's eyes narrowed slightly as he took in their uneasy expressions. He acted like he didn't know what was going on, but inside, he was seething.
