An hour later, Yoongi and Taehyung entered the restaurant. Yoongi looked around for Namjoon, but didn't see him anywhere.
"Tae?"
Both Yoongi and Taehyung spun around as Taehyung's name was called. Yoongi saw a man he didn't recognize, but that was obviously not the case for his best friend.
"Hobi?! Oh my gosh, how long has it been?!"
"Too long!" Hoseok said, pulling Taehyung into a hug. "How have you been?"
"Not too bad! You?"
"Can't complain."
Taehyung suddenly looked over at Yoongi, whose brow was furrowed slightly. "Oh, Yoongs, this is Hoseok. We used to work together a lifetime ago!"
Hoseok stared at Yoongi. "Yoongs?" he asked. "Your name doesn't happen to actually be Yoongi, does it?"
Yoongi blinked as Taehyung's eyebrows rose. "Um, yeah," Yoongi said. "Do we know each other?"
"No," Hoseok confirmed. "But we're about to!"
Suddenly Namjoon walked up, confusion etched on his face. "You guys...have already met? How did you – "
"Joon, this is an old friend of mine, Taehyung. It would seem he knows your new friend."
Namjoon quirked an eyebrow. "You're here together?" he asked Yoongi as he shook Taehyung's hand.
"Yeah, uh, he's my best friend. I figured if I was meeting yours, maybe you like to meet mine."
A grin spread across Namjoon's face as the confusion was cleared up. "Well, yeah, of course!" he said. "The more the merrier!"
Taehyung glanced at Hoseok and they shared a knowing smile. It went unnoticed by Yoongi and Namjoon, who were now engrossed in greeting each other.
"Well," Namjoon said a couple of minutes later. "Are you guys ready to sit?"
"Sure!" Taehyung agreed. "Let's eat!"
Taehyung and Hoseok spent much of the rest of the time chatting with each other, catching up. That was perfectly fine with Namjoon and Yoongi, however. But eventually, Namjoon did lean over to his friend. "I thought you wanted to meet Yoongi," he said quietly.
"Oh, yeah, of course!" Hoseok replied, giving Taehyung an apologetic look for cutting off their conversation. "Yoongi," he said. "Namjoon played your stuff for me. You've got a real talent!"
Yoongi smiled slightly. "Thank you," he said quietly.
Namjoon turned to him. "I hope it's okay that I shared it with him," he said. "Like I told you, he doesn't have any say in the job offer situation, but since he's my best friend, I just couldn't resist letting him take a listen."
"No, that's fine," Yoongi replied, though he did look a bit embarrassed. "I don't mind."
Suddenly Taehyung leaned over, observing his friend. "You're blushing," he said.
Yoongi glared at him. "I-I just am kinda honored that he likes my stuff enough to share it with people," Yoongi tried to explain it away. "That's all."
Taehyung again looked at Hoseok and both shared an unnoticed smirk.
"So, Namjoon," Taehyung suddenly said. "I noticed you've got some dimples there. They're nice. You know, Yoongs is a bit of a sucker for dimples."
Namjoon furrowed his brow slightly as Yoongi stared at his friend with narrowed eyes.
"Uh, thanks," Namjoon said, sounding a bit confused.
